My husband and I will be in Cancun 10/23 - 10/30. We are getting nervous about Richard which looks like it will become a hurricane soon. Do you think it will hit and for anyone in Cancun...is Cancun prepared? And if anyone has experienced a hurricane there how bad was it? I dont know what to expect. We experienced tropical storm Ana while in Puerto Rico last year although it wasnt a direct hit, it was pretty bad. Im getting scared!

My daughter is 9 and my son is 4. There is a neighborhood girl who is 10 and she has only been playing with my daughter for about 4 weeks. Prior t that she used to curse my kids from across the way and give them the middle finger and a lot of times just stare down our street watching the rest of the neighborhood kids play. She even had the audacity to curse at my kids in front of me. I warned my daughter to stay away from her and to not make eye contact because obviously the girl has problems.

My daughter is very social and does not like having enemies and went against my wishes/advice and be friended this girl. In the last 4 weeks she has done so many things that make me concerned. My daughter had her cousin over and my husband took them to the community pool while I stayed behind at home. Our screen door was shut but the door was open. I was in the bathroom when I heard the doorbell ring, but obviously was unable to answer. It was the 10 year old girl, she then proceeded to walk into my home and was searching for my daughter. I was completely creeped out! Since I am on maternity leave, I am home almost all day. She would peek into my house constantly looking for my daughter. I have asked her repeatedly to stop this and when I try to talk to her, she runs!

My daughter has told me that she has thoughts of killing herself and has shown my daughter slits on her wrists. My daughter needless to say is also creeped out and annoyed at her behavior. She manipulates my daughter by having her do things that she doesn't want to do by threatening her. My daughter and I went shopping one day and when we came home she was waiting outside for her. She told me daughter to bring out everything I bought her and my daughter told her no because she already put it away. She then responded by saying "If you dont do it I will go home lock my self in my room and cry all day and i might hurt myself". This freaked out my daughter so she listened to her.

The neighbor then challenged my 4 year old to a race on a skateboard...my son won. She got so upset that he won...she threw him off the board. He came inside crying and told me what happened. I confronted her and she started crying and denied everything yet my son and 3 other kids that witnessed the incident said she did do it. I told her that she was no longer allowed to play with my kids. She went running home crying. The next morning she comes to my door and said "Im sorry about what I did, can I now play with your kids?" I told her that I would need to think about it.

I had my kids take a break from going outside for 1 day. The next day she cursed out my 4 year old son and was making fun of him. She then threatened my 4 year old son that she would hurt him if he told me. He came inside trying to hold his tears back but I knew something was wrong. He finally told me. I was upset and told him I would go outside to see whats going on and he started freaking out...begging me not to go because she would hurt him. I go outside to find my daughter and her arguing...my daughter was upset at the way she was treating her brother. I then told the girl that for sure she is no longer allowed to play with my children. She ran home crying.

I knew something was wrong with her because when you speak to her she does not speak at a 10 year old level nor does she look 10. She acts and looks to be about 5 or 6. Anyways, the mom came over and seems to have some sort of psychological problems too and said that she hasnt been taking her meds for bi-polar. The mom told me that she has never really had any friends because of the condition but suggested that her daughter takes a break from my kids for 1 week and I agreed. This was 2 days ago. My daughter told me that the mother approached her yesterday and asked if her daughter is now able to play with her and my daughter told her to ask me. She never asked me but I dont know what to do....

I am afraid this girl might hurt my son again. She also plays with the 6 year old neighbor so I will basically have to keep my children in doors. I dont want to be mean but I feel like the well being and safety of my children should come first. I dont know much about bi polar in children but have done some reading and it really concerns me especially since the mother mentioned that she hasnt been taking her meds. I didnt ask why...I assume due to $$$ ??? Any advice is appreciated.

I got my passport in 2003 shortly before getting married. After I got married, I sent in my passport to have my maiden name changed to reflect my married name. The passport came back but the picture and name still reads as my maiden name. There is a page at the end of the passport book that says it was amended to show my new last name. It looks a little sketchy and just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have any problems using it. Im planning a trip to Mexico in October. Should I bring my marriage certificate just incase?

I arrive on Saturday evening and will be there until 8/22. Im getting nervous because all of the weather websites say its going to basically rain the whole time we are there!! We were looking forward to going to see the Camuy caves, beaches, and especially Culebra. I was wondering if there are any current advisories on the island? They show a tropical storm forming that some people say will miss the islands and others say will hit it which im very worried about. Does it rain all day and stay hot/muggy or is it like Hawaii where it will rain a couple times a day but then stop and the sunshine will be out?

Does anyone know of any companies who offer horseback riding services around Isabella and how much the approximate cost is? We wanted to do that after visiting the caves in Camuy. It will be myself,husband, and our two kids (8 & 4 )

I leave this weekend for Puerto Rico with my husband and our two small children. We booked out vacation EARLY this year so our hotel and airfare is paid for but in between that time to now my husband lost his job so needless to say we are on a strict budget. 1000 to be exact. Do you think that this will be enough for us to live off of for the week? We dont plan on any guided tours since we are renting a car.

I go to PR 8/15-8/22. Im freaking out! I already paid for my hotel through priceline but I notice that some not all people say they were charged a $100 per day incidental and later was refunded at check out. When I questioned some people on trip advisor who didnt mention the 100, they said they werent charged anything but tax then some people say that they were charged amenity/resort fees which were 40.00 per day even if they didnt use the facilities. The thing is Im on a strict budget! Very strict. I will have only 1100 to spend for the week which includes my husband and 2 children. We also rented a car which we will pay 200.00 for when we get there. So if I fork over 700 to the hotel for stupid "incidentals" and pay 200 for the car, I am only left with 200 for the WHOLE week for my family which is impossible!!! So my question is... if you stayed or work/worked there whats the truth on these fees? Can I somehow get them lowered or removed? Would I need to speak to a manager? Do only certain rooms get charged these fees? I dont really see us being there but only to sleep. Please someone help!!!

We are staying at the intercontinental hotel. I hear there is a place across the street called "Mi Casita" but were trying to avoid this place because according to reviews online it sucks. We are looking to eat breakfast somewhere cheap and nearby. It will be my husband and our 2 children.

I was just curious on the surroundings of this hotel. Some people online have said it was ghetto around the hotel and not much to do. I was getting worried. I would like to know from people who frequent that area or are from PR how it is.

My moms friend and his wife have a place there and invited us to the big apple and offered there place to shack up since they have a 3 bedroom and it's just them. So my question is... how is it? How is the neighborhood? Is it safe?

Which did you like better and why?

Im looking @ pics of San Juan beaches online and some beaches appear to have turquoise water and some dont. How nice are the beaches there? I have been to Hawaii & Cancun Mex which I think have very nice beaches, Cancun in my opinion was better since their water was so beautiful, clean, and clear. If the beach water in San Juan isn't clear or turquoise, where's the nearest beach to San Juan that has that type of water?

I am researching different vacations for this year in October. I notice that everytime I research a price of a ticket for somewhere in Europe the taxes & fees are more than the plain tickets!

For an example, I found tickets to London for 450 per person which comes out to 900 for two people. Their "Taxes & Fees" make the total price a little over 1700.

I looked for a flight to Maui and the tickets were almost 400 but the taxes were only 162.00 so it came out under 1,000 for two tickets. The travel website I used did not explain the taxes or fees. Does anyone know why the taxes are higher to go overseas?

How cold is the beach water in Ireland? The pictures of the beaches look beautiful but I notice nobody is ever at the beaches. Is it too cold? Whats the weather like n October?

Since 1994 how has Belfast been? Is there still a lot of struggle there? Whats the major difference between Dublin and Belfast? Which city would you reccomend for travelers?
