  • Can I post a fantasy league manager opening in a money league?

Not sure if this is the right place or would be considered spam, but due to a communications mix up, I have several openings with a draft tonight.

  • How to get value from a flopped nut flush.?

So last night, I played As7s from the BB and flopped a nut flush. I decided to play like I was on a draw for another spade and checked the flop. I got what I wanted when button value bet. I called. Same thing after the turn. But the river came with another spade, so my feint was over. I led with a value bet, hoping that he caught a weaker flush, but he folded. Any strategy points for playing a flopped nut flush?

  • Another Pivotal Hand from NLHE tourney.?

Final table in 90 player turbo SNG. Five Handed. Blinds at 750/1500 with 150 ante.

My image: 110k in chips, double the next stack. Super tight until bubble with only premium hands shown. Since bubble, a bit more aggressive. Showdowns with big stacks have been premium hands, but have knocked out several smaller stacks while I held mediocre cards (iffy draws that hit, middle pair, etc.) Big time bully on final table.

Opponent: 55k in chips. Played solid, conservative style, but seems a bit tilty after losing half his stack to a suckout. He's been seeing and betting the flop almost constantly to rebuild his stack. I've been avoiding him since the bubble as we've been running 1-2 since 20 players left.

Me in BB, opponent in SB. I get AhQh. Folders until opponent calls big blind. I raise 3x to 4500 and get a call. Flop comes AdTc4s. Opponent checks. I raise 9k, making the pot 18750. Oppenent re-raises all-in. What's the play?

  • Pivotal NLHE Hand. How to Play?

    Set-up

600 player $5.00 buy-in SNG, non turbo No Limit Hold 'Em. 100 players left. Average stack at 9000. My stack is 22,000. Opponent's stack is 24,000. Blinds are 500/1000 with 100 ante.

I've been active, but only shown down quality hands. I've doubled up twice in the last ten minutes with flush and FH traps.

Opponent seems like calling station, but arrived with a big stack that has taken some hits. He hasn't shown down since arriving a few orbits ago, folding several times on the turn.

UTG+2 raised 2x BB. From BB, I call with 5h5s, looking to set mine relatively cheap. All others fold. Flop comes down Ah, 2d, 3s, giving gutshot straight. I lead with half pot. Opponent flat calls. Turn comes and it's 4d, giving me a straight, . Total pot is 10,800. What's the play here?

  • Game Changing Hand?

So, I've started taking notes when I play of hands that seem interesting to get additional comments. Here's one from last night.

The Game: A popular turbo tournament at Full Tilt. Double stacked with bounties. 90 players with $3.30 buyin. $.50 per knockout.

The situation: I have 22k in stack in the top 5 with 25 players left. I've played tight and aggressive with some big wins with monster hands and have recently been bullying the short stacks.

The hand: I'm UTG and dealt 88. I raise 2x bb. I get four callers, including the BB for a $4200 pot. Flop comes 334 with two clubs. BB checks. I raise half pot. Three people fold. BB with 17k in chips pushes all-in. BB has been pretty quiet over the last few orbits, but had one big suckout to get his stack and a few well played hands to accumulate chips

    How do you play this?

  • Omaha starting hands?

So I was playing some Omaha last night and got the following cards:

    TJQK with KJ suited.

Not being experienced in Omaha, I folded when someone bet the pot pre flop under the belief that my straight draws are cancelled by the other cards in my hand.

Of course, the flop came rainbow AJT giving me the nut flush and a FH draw.

Is this considered a good starting hand?

  • NLHE final table question?

So I was playing a 90 player No Limit Hold 'Em bounty SNG last night and made the final table. There are seven people left and play is still pretty tight, but blinds are getting pricey at 2000. So here's the set-up based on my memory.

I was chip leader until about 15 were left through a lot of trapping and one big suckout. I've knocked out a few short stacks to help get to the field of 7, but I'm at about 35,000 in chips (about average) and the biggest stack is around 140,000. I'm the second to act and I get suited AK. Blinds are 3000, so I lead with a 9000 bet. Folds until midposition when my bet gets doubled. Folds around to me. The villain seems to be a decent player, not terribly aggressive, but has me covered by about 4000 chips, so a loss pretty much ends his stay.

So, how would you play this? I'll tell how I played and the outcome later.

  • Most overvalued NLHE hands?

I hate AK. I have overvalued so many times and been busted by 44. I think it should be played, but dropped after the flop.

I also hate A with 6-9. No chance for connecting and if you catch the A, you stand a very good chance of getting busted by a better K if there was any betting pre-flop. I won't play these unless it's cheap anymore.
