hey guys, so im a 16 year old stay at home mechanic, living in massachusetts and i was wondering if i could legallly start a small salvage buisness from my backyard. i would only have about 2-5 cars at a time, and part them out through ebay, craigslist, ect. i have an acre of land and would keep them behind my garage, out of plain sight. ive already asked all my neighbors and they are perfectly fine with it. i see alot of people that do this around here. how do i go about legally doing this? what types of permits do i need and where do i get them? ps;my dad is willing to get anything that i legally can't being a minor...thanks!

i have a 1990 honda xr200r that i cant get to start, all the basics check out fine, spark, wiring, fuel, oil, carb, compression, timing, all good. the thing is, when i kick it down, the kickstart jams or wont go down, the book says theres a switch somewhere but i cant find it anywhere, is there some kind of ignition switch? if sowhere is it? thanks guys!

i have a 1990 honda xr200r, i havent rode it in a while and for some reason it isnt starting, it turns over nicely and has good compression, so no its not siezed to everyone who always says that, but could it just be bad wiring/not hitting ground? just looking for ideas from anyone who might know, thanks guys!

i have an 8-10 year old amanna washing machine model number ALW88OQAW. the spin cycle sounds like a frieght train, i replaced the belt and that stopped the squeaking, i leveled it out, only thing i can think of is the belt tensioner, im an auto mechanic not a appliance mechanic so any help/ideas would be great, thanks

does anyone know this zombie movie? its about a group of college kids who are making a film when the zombie virus lets out and they record it throughout the movie, and one of the girls narrates throughout it, it is on cable tv sometimes so its not just a little spoof film,i just dont know the title of it. thanks for the help!!

mustang guys...im doing a 6-8cly swapin a 1980 mustang ghia, ive already replaced the front/rear ends, springs, mounts exhaust, everything. but im not sure if i have to replace the drivetrain, id love to have a new 5.0 drivetrain in it, and i know i should,but im kind of on a tight budget(being 16 years old) and im not sure if its 100% nessecary..it had a 7.5 rear end with 2.73 gears, now its an 8.8 with 3.73s....the motor is a 302 built up to a boss...thanks for the help

I just threw a spectre cold air intake on my 1999 f150 v6, and it started up, started shaking and a cloud of smoke came out of the filter, then it stalled..... starting on the intake i put the blue rubber piece with a clamp, a spectre elbow, the intake tube, then the filter over the black rubber piece...i clamped all the rubber pieces and put the sensors in the holes...is that right so far? but i didnt install the mass air flow cuz i couldnt find out where too...could that be the issue? PLEASE HELP thanks

i have a 1980 mustang ghia that i will be swapping a 1982 302 engine into, its not a roller block, and i plan on putting a T5 tranny into it, and i have a v8 front end and a 7.5 rear end9i plan on upgrading to an 8.8) but can i keep the 3spd auto in it for now? thanks

I have a 1980 mustang ghia with a 200 ci i6 for an engine. i dont have the cash to swap it out and i need new parts. any ideas on what the best performance parts are? like the best exhaust, engine parts,stuff like that, i want it to have more power, aggressive sound, stuff like that
