My cousin is getting married and was wondering what is the appropriate amount to give. I don't think they will register for gifts so I have to write a check.

I also recently found out that he invited my sister and other numerous cousins to a party after the reception (after-party- I guess like one we have after a prom). I have not been invited and I don't think I will be invited either.

In this situation I don't want to be cheap but don't want to be generous either, considering all the above mentioned factors.

I would like to know what area is the best in SF for good hotels (not downtown). I do have a car and will be travelling with my spouse. Can you recommend a good area in or near SF. The hotels that I have seen in SF are pricey (above $300) and that does not include parking fees.

Since I have a car, I am willing to stay outside the SF area but don't know what is a good area. I know of Oakland but don't know about its safety. Since I will be doing some scenic driving to Carmel and Big Sur, I don't mind if the hotel is South of SF.

I am thinking about visiting SF sometime this month. Was wondering if there are any Zodiac related tours. I will be visiting with a friend and he is interested in the case so he wants to explore the scenes and such. Do you know of any? Thanks!

When I watch any video (youtube, yahoo etc) the audio and video are out of sync. Audio seems normal but video speed is slow. I know it is not my internet connection because the same videos are okay on my iPod and other streaming devices. Please help. I don't even know where to begin to solve this problem. Thanks!

I know times are tough right now and we should be lucky to have a job/paycheck. But I have been wondering lately how people feel about their jobs. What do you like, what do you hate and why? This involves everything from office politics to the incompetent people that you call colleagues. Let me know. FYI: I am not crazy about my job but I actually like (and get along with) my manager. I do my work and he leaves me alone.

Do you think that as America's economy worsens our crime rates will increase? I know some cities are already reporting more theft, robbery, suicides, homicides etc. What do you think and why?

I like Food Network shows because I can learn several cooking techniques and some recipes. However, most of the shows have meat or seafood. Isn't it time that FN takes a leap and does a vegetarian show since vegetarian lifestyle is spreading? They already have Southern, Italian, Quick-Fix, Soul. When will we veg heads get our turn? Or should we start a petition?

P.S. I have tried writing to them but they said they only take ideas for new shows from corporations ( i guess due to $$).

I will be in Ahmedabad for a few days in February and I need a dress for a wedding. The only problem is that I can never find dresses in my size. Where in Ahmedabad can I find a dress for the wedding?? Help.

My parents bought a Dell Computer a few months ago but did not order a wireless card for the internet. Now they want wireless internet service through our cable provider and they already have the router. Can they just buy a wireless card from Best Buy or do we have to order through Dell? Also how would we install it since it is hardware. Thanks for your help in advance!!!
