2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoDoes reactivity of a metal effect its ability to conduct electricity?
Copper is more reactive than silicone and it conducts electricity better than silicone. Is there a relationship in this?
2 AnswersChemistry8 years agoIf silicon is in a simple circuit, then does it make the bulb dimmer compared to a great conductor like copper?
In a very simple circuit with just a battery and a switch and a lightbulb, then if you put silicon as the wire, will the light bulb be dimmer than if you put copper as the wire. I think yes because the silicon can't conduct electricity as well (semi conductor) so therefore it won't give a lot of electricity to the load and won't make it bright. Is this true? If so, can anyone quickly explain what about semi-conductors don't make them conduct electricity well?
5 AnswersEngineering8 years agoType of Trig Question I just don't get how to do!?
The Pont du Gard is an aqueduct that crosses the Trudeau River. From one point on the river, the angle of elevation of the top of the aqueduct is 43.6 degrees. From a point 30 m farther away from the aquebduct, the angle of elevation is 31.2 degrees. Find the height of the aqueduct, to the nearest metre.
The answer is 50 m.
I just don't understand when you draw it out is one length is x and the other is x-30 or how you would label those lengths. There are other types of questions the same format where one shadow is marked at 12:00 and at 1:00 it has grown 62 meters. Well how do I label the ground points x and 62 +x? I'm so confused please help!
Thank you so much to everyone who helps!

2 AnswersWomen's Health10 years agoWhen tracking my period, should I count brown discharge days?
Kay so I got my first period and it started with two days of brown discharge. I want to know when I'll be able to swim again, but do I count about five days from the day it starts turning red? or should I count about five days from when the brown discharge started? I swim competitively and I don't want to miss many more days but I have to tell my coach if I'm going to miss wednesday. I do not wear tampons.
1 AnswerWomen's Health10 years agoPut a tampon in halfway and got brown and red.... waited 15 min. No blood on pad?
Okay so I'm thirteen and this is my first period. I've had brown discharge for two days now, and the red just started to show today as I wiped. I was going to go swimming so I put a tampon in about halfway, i stopped because it didn't feel right, blood was on it when it came out. now there is no blood on the pad. This period seems very very light, but im worried because there is no blood on the pad.
