will it work if i put in a 1 gig pc400 additional ram or a 512mb ram pc 400 the diffrence in price is not much what do u advice?

i have a PC celeron 2ghz with 512mb ram pc333 ddr1 i want to add more ram but only one available in the shop is 512mb pc 400 ddr1 can i just add it to my present one or do i have to get rid of the old ram and just get a 1 gig pc400 ddr1 RAM the old ram works ok need advice to save money thanks

need help my ps 2 8 mb memory card cant be detected by the ps2 it was working few days ago but when i pulled it out and put it back in wont work anymore only says no data can i still fix it the memory card slot is working tried putting in a friends memory card works ok but min seems to be corrupted help tried to reformat but the ps2 cant detect it
