my internet was very slow so I brought my laptop to circuit city for virus removal and to add RAM, when I got it back I had to reset to the computers factory defaults, but I noticed that now certain programs don't work, specifically world of warcraft is what's bothering me, if I try to play it, it will play fine for a few minutes then completely freeze and after that my browser stops working as well, can anyone help?

I'm not sure if the title is inaccurate but I got a new webcam and when I capture a video using a program called AMCAP it claims that the video will be in AVI format however once it is recorded windows doesn't recognize the file it as a video it simply calls it a file, once I tell it to use windows media player the video works fine but is there a way I could get my computer to recognize this as a video file, this is causing problems like not being able to choose a default program and being unable to upload videos

she has done about everything and she has had some serious issues, then she moved and got away from it all had withdrawals and then became comfortable with it now she moved back and she's surrounded by this stuff even at her mom's house who she claims is the biggest stoner she knows, she caved and smoked a few times and I found out and got really upset, we got in a fight and now she said she's making a serious effort to stay clean and that it will be very hard for her, I want to be there for her and see her through it, does anyone have any advice? she said she's taken classes that didnt help before and like I said she lives in a place that tempts her, she said being sober in general makes her unhappy since she has been used to being high all the time and when she's high she just doesn't care so it will be very difficult, sorry for the long story, I'm desperate and don't want to lose her
