  • Why do I see certain posts my friends like or are tagged in on Facebook?

I don't have much interaction with them (in terms of likes or comments) -- would it be because of the number of times I've viewed their profile?

  • Should I just break up with him?

I've been dating this guy off and on since early September. There were two instances where he completely stopped talking to me because he was angry that I was leaving to follow my dreams. And then both times about a week or two later, he would come back and say how sorry he was and all he wanted was me. TWICE. I honestly wanted it to be over the second time it happened because I was sick of his quick-to-anger and immaturity. He calls it "passion"... I don't think I can agree with that. In December, he tried to sleep with me when I was very drunk and I had to push him off and tell him to stop.

Honestly, now, I just feel kind of overwhelmed and weirded out by him. He told me like three weeks into us talking that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He told me five weeks after we started talking that he loved me... it's just way too much! And makes me uncomfortable. I really want to end it... But the thing is, I get mad when I think about him dating someone else. And I'm also worried he is going to be pissed and completely hate me if I go back to my ex-boyfriend.

I have very little dating experience honestly, so that's why I feel so confused... I'm 22 and he's 27. What should I do?

  • Why can't I just be happy with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend is the perfect guy for me: so handsome, sweetest person I've ever met, absolutely hilarious, and would do anything for me -- so why am I not happy?

    Backstory:

About a year and a half ago, me and my boyfriend were having serious problems. Enter a new coworker, and he and I got along so well - I developed a stupid little crush. Eventually me and my then boyfriend broke up and I started dating this coworker (secretly... in our line of work our relationship was illegal).

I knew eventually it had to come to an end because deep down in my heart I knew my ex boyfriend was the one for me. Our families were best friends and hung out all the time, we had been dating for over three years, we had talked extensively about marriage... so it just seemed like that was my option.

Fast forward another 7 months, and here I am in the same situation. My boyfriend and I got to a boiling point where we were just constantly fighting! So we broke up. The guy I had dated before found out and started talking to me again.

This time around, my coworker and I were so much more serious. He fell in love with me and we talked about everything I felt my heart begin to long for this guy day in and day out. The only thing is: he was nearly completely opposite of my ex boyfriend. This time, it lasted nearly three months until I broke it off again, knowing that we both wanted different things in life: I wanted to travel and move and go out of state! He wanted to stay where we currently live.

  • He called her by my name?

So I was out at a bar with a few of my coworkers, and my ex was sitting a couple seats away and was flirting with another coworker of mine when I heard her say "Did you just call me Bethany? I'm not Bethany, I'm Sarah..."

I know it's not really a big deal, but does that mean anything at all?

  • Which piece of literature from the Middle Ages and Renaissance would be good for this?

"Choose one work (from the Middle Ages or Renaissance period) we have not examined in class and comment on it by relating it to its historical/cultural context. It can be a painting, a piece of architecture, or a piece of literature (poetry or prose). (It can also be a story from the Decameron or a Canto from the Inferno that we haven’t analyzed in class.) Your task is to argue if, how, or to what extent the piece you picked fits the time in which it was created. Make sure you talk about the style of the piece: not only what it says, but also how it says it."

    Beowulf? Hamlet? Macbeth?
