Why am I so slow in the mornings?
I have one morning shift that I loathe with the entirety of my being. I am more prone to making mistakes and experience a sort of brain fog that lasts 2-3 hours after waking.
I can't wake up as easily as I'd like; it takes me a good 15-20 minutes to find the will to move from the bed and even then I'm just forcing myself.
I'll admit that I tend to be more active at night. It currently being 1:03 a.m. while I'm typing this should be evidence enough.
Why is it that I can't think clearly in the morning even when I've been awake for 3 hours?
2 AnswersOther - General Health Care5 years agoWhat would the most grammatically (or accepted) way to say this in German?
I want to express that I want something (specifically, a shirt) in German for my birthday, but being a beginner, I'm not sure if this is the most grammatically correct (or accepted) way to express this.
"Ich will das zu meinen Geburtstag kaufen."
I want to say, "I want to buy that for (myself) my birthday."
Forgive my German, for I am just a beginner. ^^;
2 AnswersLanguages6 years agoGerman grammatical question!?
Just a heads up: I'm a beginner, so my sentences are rather basic. Anyways, today I learned a few basic rules related to tenses in German (Present and Future, more specifically). Below are a few examples of this:
1. Ich möchte ein Bier trinken.
2. Ich werde ein Bier trinken.
You get the idea...
Anyways, I learned about the directional preposition "to/into" today to describe where one is/will be going. I wanted to combine this with the other tenses I learned such as "möchten" and "werde", but I'm not sure if the sentences I've written are grammatically correct.
1. Ich möchte ins Kino gehen. (I would like to go to the theater.)
2. Ich werde in den Park gehen. (I will go to the Park)
