  • Is it ok to watch Dragon Ball Z without watching the original Dragon Ball series?

When people refer to Dragon Ball, they mostly go with DBZ not the original series. And on TV when I was younger they always showed DBZ and never the original. I plan to see the whole series including the first series and GT, but since I brought the season 1 and 2 box set Funimation released at Walmart and did not see the original, will it be ok?

  • Help with this word problem!?

Berti is the Shape Factory's top employee. She has received awards every month for having the top sales figures so far for the year. If she stays on top, she'll receive a $5000 bonus for excellence. She currently has sold 16, 250 shapes and continues top sell 340 per month.

Since there are 8 months left in the sales year, Sarita is working hard to catch up. While she has only sold 8,830 shapes, she is working overtime and on weekends so that she can sell 1,082 per month. Will Sarita catch up with Berti before the end of the sales year? If so, when?

  • Help with solving some two-step equations!?

I understand the basic concept of Two-Step Equations but there were some problems my teacher had assigned that I had trouble with and didn't exactly go over and that is solving two-step equations with parentheses, here are the problems that I had troble with:

    1. -10 = 10(k-9)

    2. 2(n + 5) = -2

    3. 144 = -12(x + 5)

    4. 7(9 + k) = 84

    5. -243 = -9(10 +x)

Thank you so much I would highly apprieciate it and also if you would be so kind to explain how you got it or the basic concept of solving two-step equations with parentheses..

  • So sad about Gary Coleman...?

I loved him as Arnold in "Different Strokes", he was soooo funny.. "Whatcha talkin' bout Willis?" I remember today during class I was on the internet with my friend and it said that earlier today that he was on life support due to a brain hemorrage he suffered, I couldn't believe it and thought that he would live. Then I started laughing and talking about his blow up on The Insider. Later in the day in computer class my friend was on Yahoo! and said that he died and we all were talking about him. God bless Gary, and his troubled life. May he rest in peace.

Also I can't believe there was a charge about him punching or/and beating his wife, him being so short. (Not trying to be funny, cause its not).
