  • How can you tell if you are learning real Krav Magga or not?

I have been taking a Krav Magga class 2 times a week for the last 2 years from an instructor who is a 4th degree black belt in ATA Songham Tae Kwon Do. He is an excellent TKD instructor, however I am starting have doubts about his Krav Magga credintials. I have never trained in Krav with anyone else, that style of martial art is rare where I live, in fact the place I train is the only Krav Magga class around. Is there some kind of Krav Magga association that certifies instructors, if so what is it called ?

  • i Phone technical question?

I was hiking recently and got rained on, had my i phone with me and it got wet. It still works except for the receiver that picks up your voice when you speak into it. When I talk on the phone now people on the other end can barely hear me even if I shout into the phone. It is an older 3G i Phone but I would rather fix it than replace it.

Is it possible for me to fix the phone myself, and if so how? If not, how much would it cost to have it fixed at the Apple store?

  • Am I too old to be a stuntman?

I am 43 and in the Army. I attended a stunt performer training school 2 years ago just to see what it was like. I enjoyed the training but was very sore when it was over. I am in great shape for my age due to my job, and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. i would like to try to be a professional stuntman next year after I retire from the Army.

The instructor at the stunt training was in his late 50's and still a working stunt coordinator and 2nd unit director but he has over 30 years of experience behind him and I am just starting to break into stunt work.

I would like to hear from anyone currently working in stunts and get a professional opinion about my age and my chances of working in the challenging world of stunt work.

  • What is the name of this song?

I have recently heard this song on the radio but I did'nt catch the title of it or the band. It goes " aint nothing in life for free. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed....". It sounds kind of Southern rock and I think it was from the Bonaroo music festival. I want to download it.

  • What is the science behind the K2 EMF meter seen on the TV show Ghost Hunters ?

I recently saw the episode of Ghost Hunters where they went to LA to investigate reported ghosts of Charles Manson's victims haunting a home in the Hollywood Hills. A LA based ghost hunter who accompanied the TAPS team had a special EMF meter he called a K2 meter. This thing would beep and light up when the EMF field reached a certain level. He would ask the "spirits" yes or no questions and the meter would go off once for yes and twice for no.

I have been trying to debunk this in my mind, the TAPS guys seem very creditable and scientific. I cant figure out how it was done if it was faked. They even asked the ghost to lower the temperature in the room to exactly 62 degrees and it happened. If this was not the best proof that ghosts exist then I dont know what is. Any thoughts from other skeptics out there?

  • Does this wieght loss supplement work?

I just bought a wieght loss pill called RIPPED FUEL EXTREME- FAT BURNER made by Twinlab. It claims to be "clinically tested". The ingredents include 315 mg of Cocoa seed extract, 315 mg of Green Tea leaf extract, 220 mg of Caffeine, 13 mg of L-Carnitine, and 50 mg of Cayenne fruit extract.

I would like to lose about 30 pounds and thought this stuff would help. I exercise 1 hour a day, 6 days a week. I know that no pill can make you lose wieght without exercising. I just want to know if this Ripped Fuel works as well as it claims to.

  • Would Fallout 3 make a very good movie?

I have been playing a lot of Fallout 3 lately and it has occurred to me that this game would make a great movie. Many other video games have been made into movies (most were not very good) but I think Fallout has a detailed enough plot for a great post-apocalyptic movie with the right director and cast. Does anyone agree or disagree?

  • Do detox foot pads really work ?

I recently bought some of those pads that you stick to your feet at night that are supposed to absorb toxins out of your body. I tried them last night and the pads had turned gray, indicating that "toxins" had been absorbed. I did'nt feel any different though. Do these things really work and if so what are some examples of toxins that they absorb from the bottom of your feet ?
