  • Can anyone provide me with a reasonable and supportable motive for the US Gov't to mastermind Sept. 11?

    What I am looking for is a rational, justifiable, and supportable motive for the US Government to mastermind 9/11. None of the motives I have seen so far really fit.

    They wanted an excuse to attack the Mideast. Sorry, we did not have to kill 3000 of our own citizens for that. And, the wars have actually weakened the administration. Which if they were smart enough to mastermind the attacks, they would be smart enough to predict.

    They wanted an excuse to give Halliburton HUGE contracts. Nope, they could do that easily enough without killing 3000 people.

    They wanted to put the Patriot Act in place and take away your freedoms. Not buying that one either, it would have been a lot easier to get all that in place without destroying parts of the US.

    I just don't see any motive for taking on something as HUGE as September 11th.

    Maybe I'm missing something.
