  • Did you have your son circumcised?

Ok I have 2 sons from my previous marriage and I had them both circumcised. This was my choice and from doing research I found it was best. I also have a daughter from my husband and I am currently pregnant with baby #4. I am not far enough along to know what the sex of the baby is but we were discussing if it was a boy what we would do. I say circumcise and my husband doesn't want too. he says in the end it can be my choice but I don't think that's right. So why did or didn't you choose to have it done? And do you think if it is done the baby will have any affects later in life?

  • How did you know when you didn't want to have another baby?

I am 28, I have 3 kids, 2 with my ex husband and one with my husband. We have been together for almost 5 years and married for one in March. We both want another baby, however my problem is this: my husband leaves for OSUT (Army) next month, and I know when he's all done with training we can move with him to where ever he is stationed. But I know after a certain amount of training there is the possibility he could be deployed and I'm not sure I want to go through the whole having another baby process, without him at my side. **I know deployment is not something I should worry about but I do know its likely, so I'm looking ahead. Anyways how did you know when you were done having kids? do you regret the decision you did or didn't make? What made you come to that decision?

your thoughts on this? and if you were me what would you do? I am not whining I just want opinions and I can deal with the whole Army thing while he is gone doing whatever he has to, I just want an opinion on having another baby. Thanks

  • Question about child support?

My ex-husband pays me 500 a month in child support (most of the time when he's not behind). He pays me directly and not through the state. He was with a girl who had a kid and she says the little girl is his. Now you can tell the little girl is not his, but he chooses to take care of her. She applied for food stamps and medicaid and got accepted so now my ex is getting pulled into mediation to pay child support. They meaning the girl and him filed their 2009 taxes together and he has been claiming the little girl on his taxes for the past 3 years and she stays with him the majority of the time. Is there anything he can do here to get out of this? as in dna testing, tax return documents, etc? I just need to know if its in the best interest of my kids to go ahead and file through the state before any of this goes through? I have been struggling with my ex for 4 years with child support and numerous other things when it comes to the the boys. So any advice would be appreciated. We live in Texas by the way.

Also when she had the little girl he was not here, so he did not sign the birth certificate. The child's actual father is around and has asked several times if she is his and yet she tells him no. What is the best way to go around this for me? If he wants to take care of a child that is not his than he can go ahead but I want my kids taken care of.

  • How much might it cost to have an attorney read some?

My husband has our his (but its only in his name) up for a short sale. The economy with south along with his job and making our payments..anyways I was just wondering how much you thought it might cost to just have an attorney read over them to make sure everything is correct and that they can't come back for anything later. I live in Texas. The short sale process is almost finished so I am trying to make sure the next step taken is a good one.

Thanks to anyone who answers. and please don't be rude it sucks enough for us as it is.*would I just contact an attorney and see what they charge?

  • Question about school loans!?

I have 2 school loans which came due because I withdrew myself from an online school. If I send them what I can, instead of what they want me to pay will it keep me out of collections? I have al intentions of making the normal payments when we are doing better, but right now can I send just say 50 a month rather than 150 or 90? I just need someones opinion on what can be done. I do not want to put the loan off, I just need to know if what I can do will be fine. Thanks

If it matters one of my loans is wells fargo and the other transferred to the department of education. I am going to pay them because I want my credit to stay good and I want the bills off my back. I just wanted to know what you thought.

  • Trying to decide on the GI Bill?

My husband leaves for OSUT in March. We are trying to decide whether to take the GI bill or to just leave it alone. We know it takes how ever much money out of your check for a certain amount of months. What are the positives of taking the bill? and are there any negatives? we do have kids, 3 of them if that matters. I don't think my husband has any intentions on going to school but I could be wrong. Does the GI Bill have any other uses? can my kids use the money for college?

    Thanks!

  • Question about moving with my kids out of state? sorry if its to long.?

Me and my ex husband have been divorced for 4 years now. We have 2 kids together ages 8 and 5 if that matters. I am now remarried have been for almost a year. My husband joined the Army and will leave for Basic training and all that in less than two months. We will stay here until he knows where he will be stationed at. My ex husband is fine with us moving or he says he is. So I need to know how do I go about changing orders in the divorce decree? Is there a legal form we can both sign and fill out or can we write a written agreement, have it signed and notarized and send it certified to the court?

My orders say this: The primary residence of the children shall be_____and______ counties, and the parties shall not remove the children from ____and ____ counties for the purpose of changing the primary residence of the children until modified by further order of the court continuing jurisdiction or by written agreement signed by the parties and filed with the court. It is ordered that this geographical restriction on the residence of the children shall be lifted if, at the time _____ (me) wishes to remove the children from the two counties for the purpose of changing the primary residence of the children.

So with that being said can we modify the orders ourselves or do I have to get a lawyer? I can be PRO SE I just need to know the forms to fill out or if certified papers are fine since we both agree. I also know I'm not moving for a while but I am trying to get all paperwork in order in case it could take a while.

I live in Texas and so does my ex. Also he says that I would not have to pay for the kids to get back here, he would just drive to see them where ever they are, can this be included in the paperwork as well?

  • Has anyone attended Axia college online? and were you able to use your degree?

I have been taking classes with them for a while now. I backed out this last time do to personal issues and I was starting to pay them back the money I owed them. Then my counselor called and said I put you back in class and this is when you start. I have had nothing but problems with them, and I was suppose to be getting my degree for Billing and coding and yet its like health care administration and none of the courses that I have taken can put me into that field. I feel so stressed out as what I am suppose to do. I have to finish up Mat 116 and then take the next algebra class to be finished and their already trying to set me up for my Bachelors which I do not wish to obtain from there. I am lucky if I can ever talk to anyone, or if they will cal back or email back.

So have any of you who went to school here been able to use your degree? was your degree for what you wanted? Did you have any trouble while you attended there? and would you recommended this school to anyone else? I just feel like for as much as I owe lenders and DOE I could have went to a real school and been done by now and actually feel confident with all the work I have done.

  • How long does it take for the craving of a cigarette to go away?

I decided this weekend that the last 2 packs of smokes I had would be my last. So as of today I am out of cigarettes. I haven't smoked in almost 4 hours. I know to you guys that 4 hours is not a lot but I usually smoke 2 or 3 times in an hour. How do I adjust to not want to smoke? a candy or something that can go in my mouth instead of a food or exercise or what. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!!

  • what do you pay for daycare?

I live in Texas and have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom but because times are a little harder right now I am going to start babysitting (daycare) in my home. If I am to provide the meals and a snack, along with plenty of games and activities, reading time, etc would you pay 75 a week? I know 75 is not a lot. I know people pay way more than this but I figured 75 a week would help me out and it would also help others out as well. So would you pay 75 for me to watch your child?(If you knew me). I want to watch children between the ages of 2 and 5 for the daycare part. and I actually want to watch kids for their parents if they want to go out and have some alone time or something and would charge 20 for this and this could be all day or I would adjust the price if less time is needed. Thanks!!
