Personally, I have an awful relationship with my father. My father is constantly bringing me down, has never shown me any affection growing up, and in general is very angry and not very nice. My mother annoys me sometimes, but I really do love her, she's very caring and affectionate. My friend has the same problem. And I know a lot of people who do too. I also have a close friend whose father abandoned her. A lot of people struggle with aggressive fathers it seems like, and generally prefer their mothers. I just think it's really interesting. Who do you have a better relationship with?

And I'm not saying all fathers are agressive and awful to their kids. Their are a lot of great dads out there, and maybe not so nice moms.

You can turn off wi-fi on the iPhone 4s. Is there anyway you are able to turn off 4G internet? I keep going over my data network, and I don't want any temptations. I want all internet off, so I will not be able to go on at all. Please note, I don't want to eliminate my 4G network, I just want to be able to turn it off for a bit occasionally, when I go over my data network.

I've been sitting here and thinking about why gay marriage isn't legal…and I just don't get it? The people who have a problem with it are typically religious. But religion and politics should be kept separate, because, well, not everyone has the same beliefs? Like, I don't understand... everyone is entitled to their basic rights and why does that exclude gays from getting married? How will a gay married couple negatively affect the rest of society? If you don't like gay marriage, then maybe you shouldn't get one, why do you care about the lives of others. I just don't get it!

I have to the newest MacBook Pro and every time I plug in my iPhone 4s it wants to import pictures. All of the photos I have on my phone are already on my Mac, but my Mac keeps asking to import them. It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying. Anyway I can get it to stop doing this?

On top of the toilet paper I found 2 envelopes. The first one contained a paper with a bunch of numbers and then a napkin. Buried deep in the napkin was one of those small razor blades. Like, the ones you see people use to cut their cocaine in movies and such. Then in the other envelope was $101...I go to a University and the school is fairly large. I was debating whether or not to take it to the main office. Still debating on going to do that on Monday. But the school is so large it could be difficult to find the person. Plus, what idiot leaves an envelope of $101 on top of the toilet paper? Should I keep it? Plus, do you think this was drug-related at all? How sketchy, seemed like some kind of secret drug deal to me lol.

I'm currently a freshman at a school in boston. It's a commuter school so it's been difficult to make friends. Overall, I do not like it and I want to transfer. I want the typical college experience and I want to get away from home. I recently visited my Uncle in Seattle and loved the city. I would love to transfer to the University of Washington but since I'm from Boston and have to pay out of state tuition, it would be expensive. I know for a fact my Dad will not be pleased since right now he pays about 14k for my college tuition. UW would be 40k, which is 3 times more. Is there anything I can do to reduce the costs? I know there are scholarships and financial aid you could get but I honestly feel as if I will not be eligible for much money. Any advice? Would having family in Seattle benefit me at all? Would there be any way I could be eligible to pay for in state tuition?

And my teacher makes us do these things called 'talking points' where we write down two questions regarding an area of interest in the film, and it's supposed to like lead to discussion and we also have to answer our own questions. So, what are some interesting things to discuss in the film west side story?

Tbh I don't really like the idea of abortion. It just bugs me because it's a life, you're killing a life. It has the potential to have a life anyway. Like, what if my mother aborted me I wouldn't be living the life I am today. I just don't really understand even if you don't want the baby why can't you just give it up for adoption? Tons of couples out there are unable to have babies. Why can't people just pull through 9 months of pregnancy instead of kill a potential human? I rlly hope this doesn't sound ignorant because I do believe in pro-choice, it's your body do what you want, I respect that. I just don't understand why more people just don't give it up for adoption? Even if it's rape, the baby is still a baby. Idk I just don't like the idea of killing a fetus. Even if it doesn't hurt it, it's potential future will be gone. Am I missing something, is it not that simple?

So, I had orientation for college the other day and I met this boy. He talked a lot with me being the social person he seemed to be. I on the other hand being my shy self. but I talked with him and we spent most of orientation together. Anyway, we exchanged numbers. He texted me a couple times later that day I took a bit longer to respond as I was a bit busy and slightly annoyed by his constant texting. The next day he texts me twice while I was sleeping I didn't feel like responding so he proceeds to text me four times later that day and I still didn't text him back at all. Today he texts me twice and I finally reply saying that was I busy and I'm sorry and he was like "okay ttyl!" Not going to lie he's been annoying and I don't want anything to do with him. He is nice although I'm not a fan of his personality (he's a show off to be honest. and I feel like I'm just not hitting it off with him) and all these texts he's been sending are annoying me because we still don't know each other well. Anyway, my question: But do you think maybe I'm being a bit unsocial? Am I freaking out over nothing, I mean he's just being friendly, it's college time to make new friends! But I'm sorry and I feel bad, but I'm not interested in being friends with him. And isn't that constant texting even though he's not getting replies annoying? Like, he can't seem to take a hint. Idk, I'm planning on ignoring him in hopes he'll forget about me. It's a big school and we're not taking the same classes so we'll probably won't see each other. Or do you suggest I do something else?

So, apparently my great uncle is being sued and has to go to court. He was in his yard or something putting finishing touches on the grass with scissors when a couple with a dog walked by. The dog was about to poop on his grass and he yelled at the people. Apparently he was waving the scissors in a threatening way. So, the people are suing him for threatening him. A couple thing you should know about my uncle. He is not from America. He is from Portugal. He's been in America for many years though and his English is not bad. But let's just say he's from a not so sensitive place. He is also like 60 years old. Personally, I think it's a bit ridiculous. But I guess I understand why they would feel threatened....( though not really) they sound a bit overly sensitive to me :o) but what do you think?

I bought tickets today for a one direction concert and stupid me thought I was buying section 4 seats but I guess I misread or something 'cause my confirmation email said section 15. My friend got section 7 seating, is there anyway maybe during the concert I can make my way to her or something? Or anyway I can return my tickets and get better ones?

Okay, I don't know the title. All I know is that the title starts with a D. I know the summary a bit, and if it sounds familiar please give me title names! It came out in the spring just so ya know. Here's what it is about: it takes place in the future. Basically by the time you're 18 you are given an operation that stops you from feeling love or idk falling in love. So people get married to reproduce but not because they love eachother. But this girl falls in love with this boy and it's a little bit before her 18th birthday and I guess it's about them trying to not to get the operation? Obvs that isn't very informative...but yea...any ideas? Sounds familiar? Also apparently the author is planning on making it a trilogy?

I need help with teacher recommendations. I have the request form and I'm going to fill it out but it says I need a copy of the teacher recommendation form included in the common app to give to the teachers, I can't find it, do you know where it is on the common app? Thanks so much!

I took the SATs in May of my junior year & scored a 1380. I just took them in October & scored a 1390, I improved greatly on my writing going from a 440 to a 510. I'm taking again tomorrow because I forgot my calculator for the previous one. -__- I'm pretty sure I probably won't even improve much. But I'm not a horrible student. Freshman was a little rough, I was lazy I mostly got C's & B's. Sophomore year I got mostly B's with occasionally C's. Junior year final grades all B's with an A, but unfortunately one D. This year as a senior I'm taking honors world lit ap psychology and French for the 4th year. My guidance counselor says the change in classes looks good. For the first term I'm getting a's & B's in my classes. SAT just freaks me out so much. I'm terrible at math, & I'm a horrible test taker. How much do colleges look at SATs? Will not be able to get into a good college now because of these scores???

I have some ideas, & here is the one I wanted to do. My brother has Down Syndrome & I wanted to write about him. The thing is I don't know want to write! Like the struggles of having a brother with a disability? How it's influenced me? I have no idea! :| Want to just help out & give me some ideas, & I don't know do you think writing about my brother would be a good topic for a college essay? Or should I change it?

Okay the weirdest thing happened to me when I was on tumblr yesterday. So I originally follow 99 people. When I went on yesterday I was just scrolling on my dashboard but I saw unfamiliar faces. I got really confused, so I went to go see the people I follow. IT SAID I FOLLOW 500 PEOPLE! I was like wtf? How is that even possible. Then BAM went up to 700 as I refreshed. I unfollowed the unfamiliar faces, but the number kept rising and rising and the people I just unfollowed somehow got followed back again! So I changed my password, and by this time I was magically following over 1,000 people I unfollowed all the unfamiliar faces & got it back down this time to 95. The number stopped rising. Now though I can't see my blog! I'll click on it & it'll go to a web host thing, now right now it says the web page is not available. I CAN'T SEE MY BLOG!

Does anyone know what happened to me? And does anyone know how I can be able to see my blog again?

I had a job interview ( this will be my first job) and when it was done with, the manager told me that he would contact me for an orientation by the end of the week along with other new people and we would go from there. The job is a host at a restaurant. I know that orientation is to teach newcomers, but does this mean I have the job? He never said I HAD it, he just said he would contact me again to do an orientation
