Hi, I currently live in Florida and am moving to Montana for a summer seasonal job. The job is from April to September. I was just curious as to what I should bring? How much clothes should I pack? I have been thinking about taking my canoe from the Wekiva Springs State Park and rowing it all the way to the St. Johns river, then rowing it to Jacksonville. I would be camping at night off of the water and onto the land. Would it be safe to be rowing in there with a canoe and also would it be safe camping there at night. I am going on a hiking trip on the Pacific Crest Trail and I am not sure what kind of food to take. I don't have a bear proof can or bear proof bags. I am looking for food that bears will not be able to smell. I am not sure if bears can smell canned food like Chili or Chicken Noodle Soup. I have recently just got my A.A. Degree from the local community college. I do not want to keep going to school. I want to have a great adventure, because I feel like I have done absolutely nothing with my life so far. I have no great stories or anything keeping me here in Florida.
