Near the end of Star Wars Episode VI (1983), "dead" Anakin Skywalker appears with Yoda and Obi-Wan...?
is THAT Anakin the Anakin in the later Star Wars series(episodes 1-3)? They look awfully alike...
8 AnswersMovies1 decade agoQuestion about army-immigration...?
Does serving for 2-3 yrs as Reserve(not Active Duty) on one of the armed forces (including Coast/National Guard) qualify me for Naturalization eligibility? It does say at least one year of service on any of the armed forces on the requirements, but I'm not sure whether serving as Reserve counts as well. Reserve is serving part-time, from how I understand it...

3 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoQuestion about Continuos Residence for Naturalization?
Let's say that my continuous residence count is set back to Zero due to travels over 1 year.
If I return as a PR and stay for 3 years, my count will be 3 years.
If after those 3 years I choose to leave the country for 5 months, return to stay for 2 months, then leave for 5 months again to stay here...Will I be elible for naturalization? (all the travels are for studying abroad. I will be staying here after finishing undergraduate).
3 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoQuestions about Continuous Residence Calculation for Naturalization?
Usually they require 5 years of continuous residence after becoming a PR.
After becoming a PR on Feb/07, I technically kept this residence requirement. My travels to my native country were for 2 months, 2 weeks, and 5 months. If those three travels do not reset my continuos residence, that will make it about 1 year and 10 months after becoming PR. But then I decided to attend school abroad, so I had to be out of the U.S. for a year and a half. My residence count did reset, but I did have a re-entry permit. I returned to the U.S. with the re-entry permit this Summer and stayed here for 2 months. Does this 2 month stay begin a new count? And if so, where will my count be if I am to stay out of the U.S. after the 2 month stay for about 5 months, only to return to the U.S. to stay here for 3 years + afterwards?
1 AnswerImmigration1 decade agoI'm a permanent resident currently studing abroad, interested in enlisting.?
I am going to take a leave for about 2-3 years, and during that span I would like to join the military (preferably Coast Guard//National Guard, but any really...). However, as I have heard that the normal enlistment is for 8 years, meaning min. 3 yrs serving if not counting the years on IRR. So there is no way that I can serve for 2~3 years? Active OR Reserve?

3 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoQuestion about joining the Army and Immigration?
I have been a permanent resident in the U.S. since 2007. But after just a year and a half of continuous residence, I decided to attend a college outside of the country. I have been keeping my immigration status via Re-Entry permits. If a person like me decides to join the U.S. Army after this winter semester (that means I'm out of school by January) and serve for 1-2 years, will I be eligible for naturalization as American citizen? (considering my continuous residence and all) Does serving as Army Reserve also qualify, or does it have to be on-Duty?
3 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoLooking for a movie...?
They say that watching one film over and over again to the point of memorizing the lines is an excellent way to improve your listening skills in English. Is there a movie that is relatively short (the length is not such a big factor though) while containing many "educated"(in terms of expressions, vocabulary, etc.) dialogues? A lot of dialogues are preferred. Thanks!
