  • Far Cry 3 Questions?

!) I got the Xbox 360 version and an update that is supposed to let you get all the weapons after you complete the first radio tower, but it doesn't seem to work. Does it work on say the PS4 version or is this just an error?

    2) Are there plans for a far cry with Jason as the protagonist?

  • Question - Autism - Books and Jobs?

Hi, I have autism and I want to know about two things.

    1) What would be a job that would be good for someone with autism or gives them special benefits? I would love to be a videogame tester but I know the opportunities are slim. Are there jobs like this that would give special preferences to people with disabilities, and what are they? PS I already know about the Americans with Disabilities Act, but I'm looking for something that is well-suited to people with autism.

    2) I wrote a memoir book about my experiences with autism, coupled with a tough childhood because of abuse. How should I go about publishing it?

  • FEDERAL FIREARMS CURIO AND RELIC PERMIT - QUESTIONS?

I was looking into Federal Firearms Licenses, and I had been told that getting a C and R License is possible for civilians, and I knew someone who claimed to have one. But I have a few questions about them.

    1) My understanding from what I was told, is that a C and R license can be obtained for collectors, but any other type of FFL will only go to someone selling guns, either in a store or via the internet. Is this accurate?

    2) What type of paperwork would I be required to keep?

    3) I also understand that business dealers, who sometimes have to travel, can take any gun they legally own to any state in the continental US since it is a Federal License - thus, they can own an Uzi in someplace like Connecticut or California, where they're otherwise illegal to buy. Does a C and R license give this ability to transport over state lines?

    4) I know that to buy a gun that is fully automatic, you need approval and a tax stamp from the ATF, if you're a civilian. With a C and R, do you still have to do this? Or just keep a written record of what you bought?

    Thanks! Relevant info is welcome.

  • Questions from a beginner?

OK I was looking into getting a bike but I know little about them. First of all, what is the process like to get your motorcycle license? Second, what would be a reasonably priced bike for a beginner? Is there a particular brand that are made for beginners (ie, Harley Davidson, Ducati, ect), or is that just personal preference? Third, I looked at some models just out of curiosity but the specs I saw didn't include things like top speed, they included things like torque, compression rate: 1:91:1, stuff I don't understand. Can someone explain what these are?

Finally, out of curiosity, what are some of the faster bikes for when I get a little more advanced? I heard Ducati makes some fine racing bikes, how fast can some of those go?

  • Guinness Beer - Tastes different in Different Countries?

I'm an American citizen and I live in America, but because I'm of Irish descent, I took a trip to Dublin, Ireland a few years back. I stopped at some of the bars for dinner, and had some Guinness because it was a local specialty, and I LOVED it. I wasn't 21 at the time (US legal drinking age), but as soon as I turned 21, I bought some Guinness here in America, and I would have sworn it was a completely different beer - didn't taste anything like in Ireland.

What is the cause of this? I know the beer has to be shipped, and it's going to be older if I drink it here in the US than if I drink it in Ireland. Does the taste change over time, or do they add preservatives to it in order to ship it overseas? Or is there some US law that requires it to be made differentially?

  • Putting a Class 3 Weapon in a Trust Fund?

I had the trust written out by a lawyer a while back, now I need to finish the paperwork for the gun itself. So, what is the process for putting the Class 3 item in the trust? Do I fill out the same paperwork, the form 4 differentially than if I were putting it in my name, or is it different paperwork entirely? What else do I need to do to put it in the trust?

I had also heard that if it's being put in a trust you don't need the law enforcement signature. Is this true?

  • Growing Grapes for Wine - Climate and other Questions?

I had always thought that grapes had to be grown in a warm climate. But, a friends grandfather grows grapes, and we live in Connecticut, where there are warm summers and some very harsh winters.

Can grapes grow in climates that get this cold and be used for wine? Or even colder climates?

And how long do the plants take to reach maturity and start making grapes?

    Any other info appreciated.

  • Windows 10 Question - Display and Power?

So I recently got windows 10 and so far I like it. And it shows me the icons like the old windows 8 used to. But, recently, I've noticed that if I don't touch the screen or move the mouse for a while, the screen shuts down, even though I set the screen shut off to "never."

So, I went into power to try and fix it. But now, when I open my computer, instead of it showing me the icons on the screen, the display is set to the way it used to be when I pushed the windows button on the old windows 8, and I HATE this setting, but don't know what I did to do this. How can I change it back?

  • Pacific Islands - World War 2 Remnants?

I know that during World War 2 there were a lot of brutal battles in the Pacific against the Japanese, who were very good soldiers. And I know that there were a lot of bases on the islands in the Pacific, and I would assume that after the war was over, the Japanese (if they were still on the islands) would have probably abandoned them, and if they had been captured by allied forces, they would have been abandoned because there was no point in occupying them.

My question, is there any idea how many of these bases would have been in service? And unless they were being serviced and repaired, what shape would they be in now? I mean if they were concrete would they may still be relatively intact? As I'm curious about history tell me anything you know about these islands/bases/remnants from World War 2.

  • Non-American Perception of American Culture?

I know there are a lot of stereotypes of Americans from other English speaking countries. First of all, what do you know about how Americans perceive themselves? I mean, I've heard that most people believe that many Americans don't know about any country other than their own, but I'm curious about what people think. I mean, even if we're called Yankees by most people, is there knowledge of other cultures within our own, like how people from the Southern part of our country are called "Rednecks" and they call Northerners "Yankees"?

And what else is there that other people perceive about American culture? I mean, the stereotypes, and the knowledge that other countries have about America, and so forth? And what do we tend to do that you find amusing, ie, we don't like soccer (or football, as many call it) as much as any other country, we don't pay attention to events outside our country, ect.

  • Rick Riordan's Work - Percy Jackson and his other stories - Questions?

My cousins seem to love the Percy Jackson stories, and I'm trying to keep up with them on the stories, so I need to know more about them. My understanding is, there are two series of Percy Jackson books, The Lightning Thief and The Blood of Olympus series, or something like that. There are also apparently two movies. However, they just told me that there are other books based on other mythology, Egyptian and Norse mythology, that are out there, but they seem to think that these books are based in the same universe.

    So here are my questions:

    1) Are these books based in the same universe? If so, what are the other books that ARE based on the universe? Could I Get the names of all of them?

    2) Is there going to be another Percy Jackson movie? They don't seem to know.

    3) If these books are based in the same universe, do any of these other stories have references to the Percy Jackson stories, or characters from the Percy Jackson books in them?

    4) Is there going to be a third series of Percy Jackson books?

Please don't guess, I want the official word, my cousins are really into these books and I don't want to mislead them.

  • Legality of Marijuana - Questions and Possible Complications?

So now, Washington State, Washington DC, Colorado and Alaska have legalized marijuana for personal, recreational use. But I know this is not without complications. Technically, even though the president has said he will not enforce the law, it is still a violation of federal law.

Then there are other violations. While it is legal to drink alcohol, if someone admits to drinking, this will not effect their job because it is legal. But if weed shows up during a drug test in a state where it is legal, can an employer still fire someone based on this? On a federal form where an individual says they are not users of illegal substances, does this include weed? Please, tell me of any knowledge of this as well as what you know on the subject.

  • Homemade Alcohol?

Can someone tell me more about the process of home brewing alcohol? I want to know how it's done, about how much it costs to do, how long it takes to make, and so on.

I'm particularly interested in brewing things that are not available commercially, such as mead (honey wine). The more info that you have, the better. Please share!

  • Differences Between Bows and Crossbows?

I know that compound bows and crossbows are different and I I know what they look like. However, I'm less familiar with the technical differences between them. First, I know compound bows are a lot faster to fire than crossbows, but crossbows have a lot more force. Consider an average crossbow and an average compound bow - how much more force will a crossbow generate? Is it significantly better in taking down larger and/or smaller game than a compound bow? Are crossbows harder to service or take care of? Anything else relevant is appreciated.

  • Raising Farm Animals - Questions?

So I'd been looking into getting some animals for a number of purposes. Right now, this is still under consideration, so I'm just curious about facts for the moment.

First of all, which ones are easy to raise? I know some are harder to raise, and some are easier. Also, some are more expensive than others.

The animals I'm looking at, and am curious about, are: chickens and roosters (meat and eggs), pigs (meat, maybe feeding them leftovers), horses (for riding and fun), goats (milk), cows (milk and meat), ducks and geese (meat), and rabbits (meat and fur).

Now, as far as these animals go, please tell me how expensive they are to buy (upfront), how much land I'm going to need, how hard they are to take care of, how much it will cost to feed/house them, and any other relevant facts.

My cousin raised chickens as a kid, so apparently they're easy and cheap, but smell, from what I heard. Horses can just eat grass and grains, right? Any info is appreciated.

  • Ranching - Is it Easy to Learn?

Is learning to be a rancher an easy thing to do? I'm from the city, but I'd always loved the thought of being a rancher. I don't believe it's something you learn in a day, but is it an easy thing to learn? And is it an easy profession to make a profit out of?

  • Southern USA And Deep South - Culture Questions?

I'm looking into moving down south because I like the culture better and there are lower taxes, and a number of other things that I like better. What I want to know - what states can I find some of that old fashioned southern culture, southern hospitality, ect, like the deep south?

I have family in Virginia, and while it is different than where I live in New England, they say it isn't part of the deep south and that their state is changing, but maybe it's just that one part of Virginia that' different (it's a very wealthy area).

I want to know more about southern culture and what I can realistically expect when I move down there. I know it's quite conservative politically and in a number of other ways. If I go down there, what should I expect and is there anything I should know when interacting with others?

  • International Waters - Legal Question?

I saw something about a private individual who had a large cruise ship that was kept in international waters so this raises a question for me. If an individual relinquished all boat registrations, so that the ship wasn't flying under the flag of any country, would this make them essentially not under the rule of any law, barring perhaps international law? I mean, ok so the boat couldn't come into dry dock anywhere, but if this was the case, could the ship be effectively immune from the law of countries, assuming it never went within their territorial waters? Thus someone could use the ship to do things that would be illegal in many countries like growing drugs? Please only answer if you know about international law.

  • American Question for English Speaking Countries?

I'm American and I'm curious about a number of things for other countries that speak English (England, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, ect). Several things, what is your view of America in general? What are your stereotypes about us? How do you see things being done in America? And based on what you know would you like to live here or visit us? As much info as possible.
