I have tried every product out there to calm her frizzy hair! From cheap stuff from walmart to 60 dollar products from carols daughter. Nothing seems to work. I only shampoo her hair once a week. We have to use conditioner in the shower every morning or i wouldnt be able to get a comb through it! Any suggestions? She is 8 years old and really starting to want to fix her hair every morning because all of her friends have straigt hair. I wont let her flat iron anything but the bangs though. Im afraid of the damage the heat would do to her hair!

My 15 year old son told my niece(26 years old) that he had sex with his girlfriend. He told her in confidence, so i dont want to tell my son that she told me because i want him to have someone to talk to about things that he feels he cant talk to me about. He trusted her not to tell me but she told me about it because she thought that is something a parent should be aware of. I appreciate her telling me, and assured her that i would not tell him that she told me about it. Now, how do i approach my son about this?? It makes me sick to my stomach. I just want to lock him in his room and never let him go anywhere without me! We dont let him run around a lot. He goes to the movies with his friends once in a while (i take him and pick him up) and attends sporting events at school but thats about the only time he is out of the house without parental supervision. Evidently, he got past me on this one....What do i do? I am married to my sons father for 17 years. If his dad knew about it, he would probably ground him for months!

except for when he gets his way, or when he is with friends. He has such an attitude any time i say anything to him. If i ask him to clean his room, he gets an attitude. ask him to take out the trash..attitude. It i tell him he cant do something he wants to do....attitude. Is this normal for a teenager? He wants to go live with my brother!! How can i get along with him better? were your kids like this?

Does anybody know where i can watch season 2 of army wives on line? I have seen all of season 1, rented the dvd's. I know season 2 encore starts Jan 18th but i need to see the season 2 first! Help! I love this show. I watched all of season 1 in one night! Just couldnt stop watching it! Thanks!!

We are a one income family. I have two step children aged 17 and 20. They do not live with me and the 20 year old has her own house. I have two children with my husband, age 14 and 5. I spend way more on my own kids at Christmas than i do my step kids. is this wrong? I know its not about how much money i spend that matters but i need to take care of my own kids first.

I receive social security disability payments, my girl friend is having my baby in 2 months!!! Will my child be eligible for benefits also? What about insurance?
