Does St. Augustine, Florida have a southern feel to it? Floridians help?
I know north Fla usually has a southern feel similar to Georgia. I have been to St. Augustine once and it sort of felt southern. But I'm interested, do the people talk with southern accents, is food southern, how is the culture. I'm not looking for somewhere as far south as Orlando, where it's everyday America, tourists, etc., I want a southern town/city to move to much like Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, that is one the water, with gorgeous palm trees, sun, and a nice southern american side to it (but much smaller than those listed). Is St. Augustine too far south to find this? What do you think!

It doesn't recommend you use tap water but that's all I have. How do I get distilled water without buying jugs because that would be expensive

All my life I've been in Richmond, Virginia, an old southern confederate river bank town... So I'm more of a southerner. I like the south and it's weather, its cultures and ways... But I also love New York City. Every time I've been there I have been so happy and my grandma is from there. I'm 20 and I can either go to a school in New York City, or pick a school down south in Georgia or South Carolina for the same price. What would you do if you were me. Which do you like more?
