So my girlfriend works at “El cometa” in El Paso, Texas.

I know there’s laws about tip-pooling but this doesn’t seem to fit into that. 

Quick backstory: a waitress who is the store manager’s wife complained that she was not getting “enough tips”. So as you may wonder, the shift manager for my girlfriend’s shift always tries to please his boss. 

The way that specific “El Cometa” works is that there’s 3 waitress’ (let’s call them team A). 

2 cashiers and 1 “corredera”(team B)(sorry I didn’t know the English word for that).  

The waitress’ (Team A) always keep their own tips and the two cashiers and the corredera (Team B) always sum their tips and split them between just them. Seems fair.

Now, since the waitress complained, the shift’s manager said that team A’s tips will stay the same but team B will only get half of the tips they all made together and the other half will be given to team A so that they split it.

I want to take a break from college and focus on something i want to work on... but i know my parents wont take it well... so i want to pretend like im still going to college and since im under a “teens” account with my parents, they can see everything i spend my money on and who i send the money to... and dont take it wrong... i’ve worked full time to pay for my own tuition(0 help from parents, they offered to help but i wanted to do it by my own). My plan was to send a monthly transfer to an account i opened with another bank And make it look like i was sending it to the college. And again... all the money i want to transfer is mine... i work full time and im also a full time student ...
