I'm a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Consultant, and one of my clients had a dream about me last night. She dreamed that I took her to a seedy store because I was looking for weed, and I was acting really strange. Apparently, in her dream, I was trying to peer pressure her into smoking with me, but she kept on saying no and "What?" I'm quite proud of her dream self. Anyhow, I left her at some sort of boat dock, and she told me we had to finish our meeting, but I said we would finish it later, and I just abandoned her there? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, she is a foster child, and she has a court date coming up next week to determine her custody arrangement. I've been working with her 5 hours per week since October of last year. The likely result will be long-term foster care, and she is aware of this.

Here's the problem:

A researcher would like to estimate how much reaction time is affected by a common over the counter cold medication. The researcher measures reaction time for a sample of n=36 participants. Each is then given a dose of the cold medication and reaction time is measured again. For this sample, reaction time increased after the medication by an average of M(D)= 24 milliseconds with s=8.

a. Make a point estimate of the mean difference in reaction time caused by the medicine.

b. Make a 95% confidence interval estimate of the population mean difference.

I have 30 NSO (non-qualified) stock options with my company, and I have no idea what any of this means. Please explain as though you are talking to an eleven-year-old.

So, I've been dating this guy for almost a month. We went to the video store the other night to rent some movies, and he saw a family friend. He was trying to introduce me, but he forgot my name!

I know that he knows my name, and he just kind of spaced for a second, and I laughed it off. I'm not mad or anything.

I am just wondering if I should stop making fun of him about it.
