  • Is it safe to put mare and foal out with mare she was with before she foaled?

My maiden mare, who was lead mare, had a foal on sunday morning, I have another mare who she was very close too that has had 3 foals before but is not expecting just now who I have put out in the field with a mini shetland. I was wondering if it is safe to put the mare and foal out with the other mare? Would move the shetland as I don't trust her as much. There is also new horses over the fence but the mother generally does not bother much with other horses, other than keeping her herd back from them - would this be a problem?

  • If you suspect absent parent of lying to CSA to pay less maintenance what can you do?

Someone who lives in own house worth between £160k and £210K has 3 children living with them and owns a business which he has been saying to people Yes I've done really well this year. And his other child is awarded £10 a week?!!!

How can this be right, looking at the calculator seems to me he must have said he earning £130 a week - which would not even pay a mortgage on that size of house. (i know he has a mortgage and indeed remortgaged when house prices went up.)

I would not mind £10 a week if he were being honest and actually saw / spoke to her once in a while.

  • Does anyone else think the article in the Daily Mail is trying to stir up racism?

There is an article in the Daily Mail reporting that more is spent on Scotland per person than in England, it does not mention the fact that more per person is spent on Wales and Ireland as well. Further on another reporter refers to the English keeping Granny McTavish in a better lifestyle. It also refers constantly to Scottish as Scots not Scottish.

I just think that this reporting encourages a divide between the Scottish and English whilst not reporting the full facts is racist.

I am not disputing that more money is spent per person as England is more highly populated than Scotland Ireland and Wales. I am questioning the writing of the article and the fact it should be impartial and clearly is not.

This is not tended to become an anti Scottish or anti English rant so intelligent replies only.

    Thanks

  • When the CSA sends letters does it have name on envelope?

I was just wondering if they were discreet or had CSA emblazoned everywhere.
