  • Friend requests show up on yahoo.com but not on my Messenger?

    After someone added me but I only noticed it weeks after, I tested this now twice with a second account: I do not get the friend request accept/decline dialog on Yahoo Messenger, but I do see it if I login to yahoo.com mail and then open there Messenger. What is going on?

    I'm surprised that this behaviour is consistent and not just some random, one-off occurrence.
