For example, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is being released in North America tomorrow, but it isn't showing up in Japanese stores til the 27th. Am I just being misled, or is there a reason to this? Thanks!

I got the first volume for the Haruhi Suzumiya manga for Christmas recently, and I loved it. Today, I bought the second one, then saw that the light novel had been released. I read through a few chapters, and it looks really good, but I don't know whether I should buy it or not. There are ten volumes already (in Japan), and I don't know if it's worth my money. Do any of you know if the manga and novel are practically the same? Should I buy the novel, too? Thanks!

My friend's fourteenth birthday is coming up, and I wanted to surprise her with a shiny new video game for either the Wii or Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, she gets frustrated easily and she said, "I don't want a game that is too hard, or else it won't be fun for me." Are there some ideas for video games anyone can give me that aren't too "hard," but are still a bit challenging and will keep her (and her little brother, if possible) entertained? Thanks! (By the way, her brother isn't too much of a deciding factor, lol.)

Another thing: She's not a totally hardcore gamer, either; if the graphics or music isn't totally up to par, I don't think she'll mind TOO much. So far, I was thinking de Blob or Okami; any opinions on these? Thanks!

I'm doing a project on, basically, "The ins and outs of solar cars," and I wanted a few opinions on these questions:

"Why are the shapes of solar cars different from gasoline-powered cars?"

"Why aren't a large number of people driving solar cars on the highways today?"

I was thinking that solar cars aren't being driven because solar energy isn't substantial enough to go the speed that people usually want, and it's hard to maintain them, as in always charging them and such.

I mean, my language arts teacher said that sometimes poems are just writings that poets make just as a form of entertainment; that they didn't really put thought into a "meaning". I'm not saying that she says poems are meaningless; she just says that the author may not have had a really deep message to put into the poem.
