  • XBox 360 linkage vs game not playing?

Brother & I have system linked 360's together to play Halo 3, Reach, ETC with no problem. But when we tried Halo Wars, his Xbox says "lost area connection" or "lost local connection". We swapped discs in case something was wrong with his...and he got the same message. And each time I'm able to show I'm ready for someone to join me locally. So it's not the cable or disc, so what is the solution?

  • recording online video games?

I have tried several times to record on a dvd player/recorder my online games of Halo 2 with out success. This is my set up and what I have tried doing, but failing each time. I have a box which connects the Xbox, PS2 and the dvd player/recorder. By pressing a button on the box, the tv switches over to either the Xbox, PS2 or the tv/dvd player. I use the same button for the tv/dvd player recorder. When the dvd player isn't being used, the cable channels are shown on the tv. The dvd recorder has ports in front of it and in the back. I use the back ones to connect to the box. I disconnected the cables from the Xbox to the box that hooks everything up and plugged them into the front ports of the dvd recorder. The dvd recorder only recorded what ever was playing on the tv channel at the time. I disconnected the cable tv cable from the dvd recorder and nothing's being recorded except static. I also tried putting the Xbox cables into the back of the the dvd recorder and with the cable tv cable disconnected and still got nothing of the game recorded. I checked an answer by someone else on 2 programs (Fraps & BB Flashback) but these programs are used only on a computer, not a game system. Any suggestions?

  • Does anyone know how to record their video games while playing online?

I would like to record the video games I play against other players online. In this case, playing Halo 2. I have tried hooking the Xbox directly to the vhs to record with the vhs connected to the tv. But all I get is what ever is playing on that station.
