Ive applied for the british army and passed selection and everything, im just waiting to go to phase 1 now. Can i get a tattoo between now and when i start phase 1? Or will i have to wait until after phase 1 or after phase 2?

I am wanting to join the army when i leave school this year. Im wanting to join the infantry but my parents would like me to go into logistics or something non combat related.

If i was to get the form, and write that i wanted to join the infantry on it, but told my parents i was joining the logistics corps or something, would that work? If they realised i was going into the infantry could they stop me? Could they like say they dont give their permission anymore or is it too late at that point? Its not like im a little brat of a kid, its just im wanting to join the infantry but my grandads uncle was killed on the somme and after that my entire family thinks that every single person who joins the infantry is killed, my mother also said to me she doesnt want me to go to iraq and cone back dead(she doesnt know the iraq wars finished)

Hey. I leave school soon and im wanting to join the royal marines or the army, so i just had a few questions id like to ask.

If you join the royal marines at 16 do they have a system like the army (harrogate) for people under 18? Do you like do everything with other 16/17 year olds or do they train you with all the other recruits over 18?

Also do i need my mam AND dads permission to join? Because my dad is really behind me and he is pleased i want to join, but my mam doesnt, she thinks i should be a lawyer like her dad. Do they need your parents to give signatures or what?

Also are you allowed to smoke? Like during the prmc and training and everything? Also will they let me smoke if im 16 when i join? (Smoked since i was 13 and im aware of the risks, its my choice to continue)

Lately ive just been feeling bored of my life. Im just bored with how routine its become. I just go to school every week, then sit and watch pointless rubbish on the tv most of the weekend. Im just bored of it, i have nothing to look forward to, and my parents (my mum works in tesco and my dad works on a trawler) want me to go on to do "some succesful **** in an office". Im just bored of it. So how can i make myself feel better? What can i do?

Ok so i want to get an air pistol. Im looking for one wich has the gas cylinder on it that i can fill with compressed air, im looking for one mainly for target shooting but also maybe for shooting pidgeons or rabbits maybe pheasents so i need one that shoots the metal pellets not bbs. So does anyone know where i can get an air pistol like this and also wich companys make the best air pistols?

I live in england, and well to be honest it isnt what leople think, its not all sunny days on a golf course with tea in a posh cup and a bit of cake, its rainy cold and alot of people (where i live) are dicks. Recently however i went to america and it was spot on, it was warm and sunny, there was a freindly black guy who said hello to me every morning and most of the oeople where spot on aswell. I know about all the green cards and legal ****, but once you are there, where is the best place to move to? What sort of things do american people like? Tell me all them sort of things.

Maybe uf i do move there then i will bring some things for the americans that maybe you guys never seen before (broccoli maybe?)

When its cold ( i live in north where it is often cold) my hands go really read and like white and blue, but my hands dont feel as cold as they look. Can i still join with this?
