I have a tile for a program that I uninstalled. I can move the tile and resize it. If I right click on it I can see the option to remove it, but clicking on it does nothing. There is no icon, just the name of the program at the bottom of the tile (if I set the size to medium).

I want to get rid of the tile.

I live in a small town where the police are notoriously.....aggressive. The other night my sister got pulled over for suspected drunk driving. (She is under age and had not been drinking) There were 4 of us in the car and we all had noticed that there were no headlights behind us and then suddenly there were Red, blue, headlights, and spot light on us. The officer accused her of being in the wrong lane at an intersection that was about 3 to 4 miles back. So he had been following us for at least that long with no headlights. While she was speeding, (6 over) she did not get a ticket, possibly because we were about a mile out of the city and the officer jurisdiction.

This is actually common in that town, there will be no one behind you and then you pass under a street light and there is a police car following you with no headlights.

There is a lot of controversy about weather an officer needs to have lights on while on the side of the road, that is not what I'm asking. Is it legal for them to drive at night with no headlights?

I've been able to play games at max graphics but after a while I would randomly lose my good frame rate. I never knew why. But even after lowering my settings, I would still get poor performance. The first game I noticed it in was Skyrim: it ran perfectly (ok, not full graphics on that one-but close) and then suddenly the game would begin to run unbearably slow. With Skyrim I passed it off as a glitch related to the modifications I made because it's such a bad X-Box port.

This has happened with other games as well.

Today I was playing Mass Effect 3 Full res, full effects. It was storming out and I got a power surge.

All hardware was fine but I was without power for a few seconds. I shut down the laptop and wated for the storm to pass. Now, I have a frame rate in the single digits (approximately) and the loading screens which used to take 3 seconds are taking about 15 seconds.

Sorry for being long winded but is there anything I can reset or change to tell my computer to allocate appropriate resources to the game?

My younger sister is about 20 and we're thinking of watching a movie tonight. She's really picky about movies, she didn't even like Titanic. Comedies are good she likes chick flicks....kinda. she also likes 'feel good' movies. I have Netflix and a few other resources so basically anything is fair game,. feel free to give multiple answers.

We like comedies, action /Adventure is good. I like the ones that make you think, she likes hot guys.

I have a Netgear WNDR3800 (N600 Premium) I have an N900 Wireless card in my laptop (450+450) Ad the computers that I transfer files to mostly have N300 cards in them. I should (I would think) be getting transfer speeds of 36 MB/s. My laptop is connected to the 5 GHz band and everything else is on the 2.4 GHz or hard wired. The transfer speeds that I get are usually in the rang of 1-3 MB/s. I have no problem with my internet, It's actually quite fast (I have Comcast) I just wonder why on a router that is designed for streaming across the network, I can't get a decent speed locally, but I have no trouble streaming HD video over the internet.

I drink a lot of bottled tea.... too much, and it's kind of expensive. I've been looking into making my own for a little while now and I see that if I switch over to Teavana I can save money. Now, I've heard that this brand is a rip off and I don't doubt it. up to $85 per pound is a lot. so I'm wondering where else would be a good place to get tea from.

Also are there any good places to get a kettle from? I really Like the aesthetics of the ones at Teavana so I still might end up getting one from there unless I can find something else comparable.

I recently inherited the responsibility of maintaining my church's website. There were apparently some pictures found that were not approved by the person who was in one of them. (These pictures were posted by the person maintaining the website before me and I had taken them down prior to hearing anything about the situation.)

Anyway, this person claims that posting these pictures is illegal to post pictures of her and her kids- She went on to give permission to put up pictures of the kid so I suppose that's a non-issue, but is it really illegal to post pictures of her. (I don't plan on doing it now that I know she doesn't want me to) I just wonder for future referance Is it really illegal to post an image of a person taken at church without his/her conscent.

I've been working with AutoCAD for about 5 years now, I've come to like it a lot. about a year ago I started working with Revit, it seems fine at first, but there are so many missing aspects, the only furniture I can find is a desk; do I have to model my own couches, cupboards, sinks, toilets, etc...

If I wanted to moddle my own stuff I would do the whole project in regular AutoCAD.

Is there something I'm missing, (a hidden menu, a download ect..) or should I just switch back to AutoCAD Architecture?

It's actuially a guitar amp speaker but this shouldn't matter.

I hooked it up to my reciever but got no sound.

I would take it apart but I don't see how to dp that without destroying the cone.

My linksys router slows down while it's on.

I can fix te problem temporarily by power cycling the router, but there are 5-6 computer and a printer on the network so it's on most of the time. I don't like going down stairs and losing my conection just to get decent speed. The router does get a bit warm but it is well within operating temperature. I would like to be able to use my internet without losing speed so quickly.

When I turn my router on, I get about 30 Mb/s,

after 15 minutes it's under 20 Mb/s

after an hour it around 10 Mb/s

At about 2 days it's 1Mb/s and it usually stays there.

My up speed is about 3-4 Mb/s but is never significantly above my down speed.

My ping starts at about 27 and makes it's way to 58

(Tested on speedtest.net)

There is a white speck that shows up most of the time near the center of many of my videos. It is not a dead pixel- it does not show up all the time and it is actually about 5 pixels wide. it shows up in both the viewfinder and the video that I export to my computer.

When I see the speck, if i close the lens, the white speck stays for a few frames and then disappears. I reappears quickly when I reopen the lens. I have tried many times to clean the lens but this has not helped.

It may be a series of hot pixels.

It disappears and reappears as I pan and change the focus.

The speck does not appear unless the area that it is in is in focus.

(not a convenient situation because this is often the area of people's foreheads.

I request that any answers do not include how to edit the speck out or how ot position the camera and talent to avoid having the speck show up. I have tried them and they are time consuming and annoying(sorry).

I have taken the camera apart most of the way (hopefully not voiding my warranty) and the lenses are NOT in a convenient place and they are well sealed so i'm not sure how i would clean it if it is dust inside the lens.

I have tried to be as specific as possible but if you need more information, let me know.
