I mailed a check out last week that was suppose to be cashed tomorrow (Friday) come to find out it has already been taken out of my bank account on 4/24/2012. My first thought is WTF. So I called the bank and ask what happened. They told me that the company (Credit Collection Services) scans the checks threw their computer instead of mailing it. So I called the collector and told them I was extremely pissed that they were not keeping their end of the agreement. I was then informed that I sent my payment to a lock box where the payments get porcessed automatically. Which is BS because someone has to open them up. I guess what I am lookinf for is: does the FDCPA protect me in this matter? Cashing post-dated checks before the date on the check (FDCPA Section 808). or not? The company is located in Newton, MA. I don't know if the law(s) change by state or not. Any help would be great. I know that its $1,000 each violation so that would wave my debt. :)

I am having my ultra sound tomorrow and I will be 19 weeks 2 days. At 17 weeks and 4 days the bpm [beats per min] was at 159? So just wondering if you think lil boy or lil girl? I'll let you know tomorrow if you all are right.
