Ok here was my idea to ask a girl, who ive been friends with for a couple months now but i want to ask her cuz i think there might be something there....

When i ask her at school, idk maybe the school parking lot or something...we talk and then i say something like "now im going to take a really big risk here..." then i get on one knee with a ring box and then i open it. Inside will either be prom tickets or a fake rings and on the top end of the inside will say prom? then i ask "will you go to prom with me?" hopefully she says yes. haha

Person A:

Job on staff: In-depth Editor (on staff for 2 years)

Pros: Very smart, writes stories on important issues and other news stories, also writes columns

Cons: VERY quiet, does not take photos, rarely designs newspaper pages

Person B

Position: Assistant Sports Editor (on staff for 1 1/2 years)

Pros: Designs pages, covers sports teams for the paper and facebook page, sports columns, great relationship with staff and advisor, dedicated to getting jobs done and helps others

Cons: May be too sports oriented, does not take photos (taking photo j senior year), slight deadline following issues

Person C

Position: Copy Editor (2 years on staff)

Pros: Very nice, gets along with staff and advisor, mainly edits all stories for staff, page designer and occasional general interest writer, dedicated to getting newspaper done

Cons: may be TOO nice, may have trouble being assertive, does not take photos

Person D

Position: Opinion Editor (2 years on staff)

Pros: Writes editorial pages and columns on school issues, covers sports teams for paper and occasional facebook page, assertive, gets along with some members of staff

Cons: Has a problem with his temper, gets angry easily, does not design pages or take photos, shows lack of effort when it comes to getting the paper done

Person E

Position: Photo Editor (2 years on staff)

Pros: Very easy to get along with, manages photo assignments and makes sure they get done, designs photo essays and other various pages, dedicated to newspaper, occasionally takes photos

Cons: May be too photo oriented (does not edit or write stories), may have assertiveness issues, involved in many other activities which may impact dedication on the paper

Who would you give the position too? I am one of these people and am nervous whether i will get the position

Im writing a sports column for my high school newspaper about wether college athletes should get paid or not and i wanted to hear some opinions to help generate some ideas

Ok so heres the story.....

So me and this girl have been friends since high school began (were now juniors) but at the beginning of this year it seemed like she liked me as more than a friend. Shed always come up and give me hugs during school, shed text me first sometimes and always seem to wanna talk to me...then she started always putting her head on my shoulder when shed sit next to me in class. It was really nice because i really like her.

But lately she seems to be stand-offish when it comes to me. She doesnt seem interested mostly when we talk, everytime i wanna hang out with her shell say shed want to but then it would never happen! It seems like everyday she acts different towards me. I just dont get her!

What should i do? I dont wanna just go out and tell her i like her because i dont wanna ruin it all. I just wish i could know how she felt about me
