How can I build a computer from complete scratch?
I'm not talking about buying a CPU, fan, hard drive, etc.
I'm wondering if anybody has any good links or suggestions to build a computer solely from 7400 series NAND gates. I know most of what to do, but how do the NAND gates actually work and respond to actual input. Does using an SR Latch work well for NAND gates? Or does the signal die out after a while.
And anybody know where I can get NAND gates cheap, I'll need a few hundred.

A while ago, I tried out D&D, because I thought it would be exciting and full of adventure...
It didn't quite turn out that way, because, well, nobody else was really interested, and I lost my interest in it a short while after. A while later, I got interested in the idea of something adventurous, so I tried Zork. I even made a map :D
Basically, I'm interested in some sort of adventure thing, (I'm not sure why, though), and I was wondering what I should do about it.
Should I go to D&D? More I.F. like Zork?
Is there anything else?
Also, what do other people do when they want to have something exciting or adventurous?
By the way, if this sounds like a weird question, sorry, I'm just not sure what to do...

What is the pattern in the following numbers:
1, 4/3, 1/2, 8/15, 16/105, 1/24, 16/945, 1/240 ?
I got them from the coefficients (without pi) of the equations for the content of a hypersphere.
Content is analogous to volume, only valid for higher dimensions.
They are in increasing order, from a circle, to a 9 dimensional hypersphere.
Thanks!
