How long does a property contract exchange take in Scotland?
If you are buying a house in Scotland as a cash deal and the house you are buying is vacant possession - how quickly can this be done? My friend is in this position at the moment and wonders how soon she will be able to move in.

Wondering if the foundation has to be done - as you can go straight to University to study any other subject straight after 6th form - and would get a degree after 3 years!! I worry because my daughter wants to study art - but to pay for 4 years to get her degree - when her friends only take 3 would mean she'd have a years more debt to worry about! Is the foundation classed as year one or not?! Please help!!

Put yourself in this situation - you work with someone who has been through the same hell you have been through, but you don't really know a lot about them - but would like to know more - but they don't give you the chance?! A guy I work with has been through a messy divorce - and I just want to be an ear and a friend - but he just blocks me out. I can see he's unhappy, and I know I could make him feel better, but I just can't get through! How do you deal with that?

I am pretty independent - if I want to go somewhere - I'll go. I know where to put oil and water in the car - I'm not scared of spiders in the bath - and I can change a light bulb! So why do men find me so frightnening? Am I too conifendent for you guys or what?! I turn the tables - I like to ask the guys I fancy out - and usually find that they are taken aback - why????
