I had a baby 2 weeks ago. The Dad was not around the whole pregnancy. He said he didn't think it was his even though I know it is. He said we would have a paternity test and then we would talk. My problem is that now that I have had her, I dont think I want him to know. I am affraid that he will want to be apart of her life when he finds out he is the father and I don't think I could stand it if I had to share custody with him. He lives and hour away from me. I think he could have done differently and not just turned away from me when I was pregnant. We were dating at the time. When I told him I was pregnant he said that he was not ready to be a father. He even asked me if I would have an abortion. What should I do? I am scared! I really don't want to share my daughter with him. I am scared if we do a paternity test and I get him for child support he will want to have something to do with her, and then I am affraid she will hate me when she is older for not having a father? Help!!!!

I have been seperated from my husband since Jun. I was just wondering when I do my taxes if we file seperately and if so what way do I file? I have a son. If I file by myself do I file single, head of household, or do we have to file married filing seperately. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and Happy Holidays to all.

I am getting divorced and I have a son by my husband. I want to keep my married name, but I am having a baby by someone else. If I keep my last name after the divorce can I give that last name to my baby. I am not with the baby's father so that is why the baby will not be getting his last name and I really want to have the same last name as both of my kids. Any response is greatly appreciated. OK, I am trying to make a choice, and I would like some suggestions. I hope no one thinks I am bad, but life has dealt me this hand and I am trying to deal with it. I don't want to make the wrong choice. Here goes, My husband left me about 1 1/2 month. I was very hurt for about 2 weeks and then with the 100th time of him telling me he was not coming home I kinda got over it. I started talking to this guy who is very nice and caring and very gentleman like, and we went out and things have been going well between us. On saturday (my birthday) my husband called and wanted to talk and I met him and we talked and he said he really missed me and wanted to come home. Two weeks ago I would have probably jumped up and down and could not wait for him to come home, but now with this other guy in the picture I am not sure. I really would like to see where it goes as well as I know now I can be on my own and my son and I will be ok. I am very confused any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

We have talked and went out Sunday night. I really like him and we hit it off WELL. We are suppose to go out friday night too. We talked monday and tuesday. Lastnight when we talked he said that he liked having his space and we should only see each other on the weekends. I told him that was fine I didnt want to be a pest and he told me he I was not a pest. He said that we could talk but not a lot during the week then we would not have anything to talk about on the weekends. MY ? is I like him and I have not called him today at all and he has not called me either, What about tomorrow night. Do I call or just wait for him to call me friday with the time we are going out. I don't want him to think I have lost interest, but I want to give him his space as well. I want to talk to him but I dont want to ruin it either. What do I do??

My husband left me and doesn't want to come back to the arguing. I have soul searched and really know what I need to do to change, and he is scared to take that leap and come home. Just wondering what I can say or do to get him to believe me and come home.
