Every so often, my computer throws up a blue page on start-up. No EEPROM or EEPROM invalid. It doesn't seem to stop the computer continuing to start-up. But the clock stops every time I hibernate or shut-down. As well as that, the monitor has some strange habits. I switch it on and then it freezes and the only way to unfreeze it is to disconnect the power supply at the back and reconnect it. But sometimes it switches itself off and THEN freezes and I have to disconnect and reconnect. This will happen 3 or 4 times before I get to the log-in screen. Then there is the matter of speed. It is not unknown for it to take 20 - 30 minutes to 'settle down'. And sometimes it just decides to use 100% of the CPU (I usually have taskmanager open) and everything stops. This usually happens when I'm trying to open up one gaming web-site (Wartune) after being on another (E-republik), but can happen with the first one at any time.
