My Samsung Galaxy A8 messed up entirely this morning. When I woke up and checked my phone, my Touch ID had not worked. After waiting a few seconds, I just tried entering the passcode. The digits appeared extremely slowly, but I got in. Once I was into my phone, I knew something was wrong because my background had disappeared and just turned black. The "Tabs" button and the "Back" button didn't work at all, and the "Home" button only worked if it was tapped several times quickly. I decided that I should check the device maintenance in "Settings" after my phone was messing up. I had optimized my phone, then after no changes, I just tried restarting my device. After holding the power button I tapped on the restart button. The restart button led me to a grey screen and the if the phone was disturbed in any way it would just go to the home screen. I didn't know what to do after that, so I just thought I should turn the phone off, but when I tapped the power button the phone would just turn itself back on. I just left the phone on for about an hour, then it decided to power itself off. I checked the phone and it worked perfectly afterwards. Could anyone explain this? I've dropped it a couple times, but it wasn't very high at all, it also has a fairly sturdy case. (If you're thinking, "Did you try taking the battery out?" I didn't try that, as it's a Galaxy A8, it doesn't have an easily accessible battery.)
