What to say... I'm a skiing addict, and a conniseur of fine ski gear. I live for the powder day, and I do what I can to get people out and skiing. I live and ski in Nova Scotia, Canada. I hope to attend university at UBC (and ski a lot) I am a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol. Did I mention that I love skiing? I currently ski on: Volkl Bridge 177cm, Rossignol FKS 140 Rossignol Scratch 174cm, Rossignol Axial 140 Salomon Ghost size 28 Goode Carbon Fiber poles
A little contrast on park skis? (Not your typical noob question)?
I've been skiing groomers for many years, and more recently been slaying the steep and deep, but being in Nova Scotia there isn't much powder to be had. I'm looking to get into park, I've got a natural talent for skiing, and I think park is my best chance at getting noticed.
Having bought a new pair of all-mountain/pow skis this year I didn't have enough money to buy a pair of park skis, so I ended up with a pair of Rossi Scratches in pretty beat up condition. I'm looking at a new pair of jib/pipe skis for next season, and I'd like some input on different skis. I don't want to hear "OMG (Armada/Line/K2/etc.) IS AMAEEEZING BUT EET NOW", I'd like some educated and personal opinions on park skis.
I am 160lbs, 180cm (Although I anticipate being about 185cb by the time I'm using these skis), and an expert skier. I'm looking for a dedicated park ski, preferably between 180 and 190cm, preferably symmetrical.
I've been looking at the:
Volkl Wall
Moment Reno Jib
ON3P Blue Steele
Moment Rocker
Armada Pipe Cleaner
Armada T-Hall
Armada Pipe Cleaner
4FRNT VCT
4FRNT CLICK!
I`m liking symmetrical skis simply because of what I`ve read, although I`m open to anything. Any pros/cons to any of these skis, or other suggestions?
2 AnswersSnow Skiing1 decade agoWhat room temperature range is considered "healthy"?
A range of between 19 and 23 or so degrees is a good room temperature, correct? I know that this fluctuates depending on various factors, but thinking in general terms this holds pretty much true, I would infer.
