I'm in high school, and my school is complete **** and transferring schools is totally feasible in my district. People always transfer in and out. The school I want to go to is a VERY good school. They give iPads for their students, score high for their academic state scores, etc. and they have a good medical pathway that I want to enter. However, my mom won't let me go to the school I want because of my little brother. She says that "I always have to stay close to him." I'm honestly so fed up with this favoritism, this is MY future, not his. I care a LOT about my education, and this school is perfect for my aspirations. Sometimes, it's like all she cares about is him and she forgets that I have needs too. How can I convince her? Thanks.

I've been in the same room as her for 2 hours, and she doesn't get distracted. Her friend came over yesterday and is having the same problem. Is this normal?

I can't change channels on Time Warner Cable! I turned the TV on and turned it to my favorite channel, and it says that I have to cancel one of the recordings, but whenever I try to press select or A, it won't work, and there is nothing blocking the cable! Plus, the recordings started in 5:00/5:30 am, and it's 10 am now! The show recorded on lasts for 30 minutes, not 5 hours! Help!
