  • How to remove fired case from bolt-action rifle?

Fired 3 rounds through my .30-06 with no problem. After firing a fourth round the bolt will not come back to eject the spent case. Wondering if there's an easy solution or if I will have to take it to a gunsmith?

  • Cleaning a .22 LR Bore, Fact or Fiction?

I have heard once before that you should never clean a .22 LR bore, and that if you did it would lose accuracy until you shot a few thousand more rounds through the bore. And since most often a lot of rounds are shot through the bore, seems you would have to clean it very often to keep the bore free from lead deposits. Just looking for any insight, knowledge, or experiences on whether you should clean a .22 bore or not.

  • Is there a simple repair for my deer mount?

On my deer mount, on the chest region, there is a bare spot which isnt really a big-deal since its hardly noticeable unless you get up close. The taxidermist said that the cape was like that when he recieved it but I cant recall if it was indeed or not. But to me it looks like he may have ripped the skin in that particular spot when strecthing the cape over the form and painted the bare spot to try to cover it up. I can't point fingers though. I was wondering if there is someway I could many repair this without altering my mount and emptying my wallet.
