  • Best optics for AR-15 / Mini-14 / Saiga .308?

    I already have an AR-15 and I will be picking up both a Mini-14 and a Saiga .308 within the next two weeks. Now I'm looking for optics for these rifles.

    I'm pretty much sold on Red Dot optics for the AR. What would be the best make and model for the price?

    For the Mini-14 I will be putting a tactical stock on it but I envision it being more of a rifle to put small game on the table, with the possibility of taking medium game at distance. What scope would be best for this application?

    Last, the Saiga .308... This will be used to take large game (Hog/Deer Sized) at distance. I would prefer something that is versatile and leans more toward tactical. I have heard Leupold scopes are very good, especially for low light applications. What suggestions do you folks have on this?

    Of course all suggestions should be water and weather resistant/proof.

  • I'm looking for the Best Semi Auto .308 Rifle with a mag capacity of 10 or 20 rounds. Any suggestions?

    I like the DPMS Panther rifles and I REALLY like the Springfield SOCOM rifles (except the price). I'm looking for something that shoulders well, has a magazine capacity of 10-20+ rounds and has a reputation for accuracy and reliability. So, does anyone have any suggestions?
