Can I insure my car for any driver?
I'm in the U.K. and I have an Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 auto diesel (7door version). I am disabled and got fed up with cadging lifts here there and everywhere so I decided to buy this! As I don't drive I want to insure it for any driver over the age of 25. Can I do this, and if so which insurers should I try?
Thanks for the help :-)
3 AnswersInsurance & Registration7 years agoCushings disease in a 12 yo crossbreed.?
It looks like my 12 year old female crossbreed dog has Cushings. She has fatty lumps and weakness in her back end especially, though she has had the runs and has been vomiting for over two weeks despite antibiotics and probiotic supplements (Yumpro). My question is this... her quality of life is pretty poor at the moment, she has no appetite to speak of and though she wants to go for a walk as usual she can only manage a few yards. The blood test results are due on Monday, and if it is Cushings, what should I do? Will medication make a significant difference to her quality of life? She has been quite fit and active until the last few weeks, but in the last fortnight the symptoms have developed quite rapidly. I don't want to lose my girl, but I don't want her feeling like c**p all the time either. Yes, she's incontinent (urine) but if that's the price for a dozen years of constant unconditional love and companionship it's one I'm willing to pay - but, I don't want her to suffer just because I can't bear to let her go.
Any advice, personal experiences etc gratefully received. Thanks for reading xx
1 AnswerDogs7 years agoCan anyone recommend some Coconut-scented garden plants?
I am looking for plants that have a coconut scent, flowers or leaves, that will grow in the north of England in a small front garden. Gorse is too spikey and big, scented pelargoniums are too tender, so suggestions please? Nothing too picky about its care if possible, for a gardener with minimum experience ;-)

1 AnswerTrivia7 years agoHow often should I feed my Senior dog?
She is tweve and was spayed at six months. She has always been fed once a day, with a couple of snacks during the day and a Bonio-type biscuit at bedtime. Should I split her main meal and feed her more often now she's getting older?
7 AnswersDogs8 years agoWhen was King Kong shown on British TV?
It's the original version from 1933 that I'm interested in - when exactly was it shown on English television for the first time? And if you know which TV station aired it that would be excellent!
3 AnswersMovies8 years agoMy dog has cataracts, how can I help her cope?
My 11 year old cross-breed has been diagnosed with cataracts, and while I know its a result of age, is there anything I can do to help as her eyesight gets worse?
7 AnswersDogs8 years agoHow do I get copies of divorce papers from 1988?
My partner and I want to get married in the spring, but he has been married before and we need copies of his divorce papers before we can book the wedding. We still live in the same county, but he can't remember which solicitors dealt with the divorce, which was probably made final in 1988. How do we get them?!
2 AnswersMarriage & Divorce9 years agoDoes Anyone Know Anything About Spoons?
I found these in the back of a cupboard - don't know where they came from! No markings as such on either the set of six spoons or on the box they are in. Any information gratefully received!
7 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAnyone recognize these spoons? And tell me how to post a picture!?
Any information about them, or pointers as to where to look, gratefully received! They are in a plain box with no stamps or markings, nor are the spoons stamped. The picture on the handle appears to be a god or goddess riding on an elephant, possible three headed. The handles have wooden sleeves and each is very finely made and tea-spoon sized. They are copper/brass sort of colour, but that could be tarnish! I realise its a bit difficult without a photo, but if you think you could help just mail me and I'll send a couple of photos to you!
