I am a published playwright with several stage plays to my credit. I now have an opportunity to develop a sitcom for a network. It's not my forte but I can't pass on this. Is there a good program for teleplays and/or screenwriting. I just need the basic mechanics of it.

I am in the process of opening a professional melodrama/music hall theater inTexas. Is there a site (or sites) out there where I can post a casting call for my rep company. I am not going to start off as an Equity theater, but I will be offering Equity-based salaries and plan to incorporate as an Equity theater next year/season.

Anything that I have found, thru my search, has just been casting calls from other theaters.

Any help on finding a site would be appreciated.

I am having trouble logging onto MySpace. I know it's not my account, because I don't get that far before before it says it's "having a problem with an add-on" and needs to close. It was fine about 5 hours ago. Any way around this?

I love How Now Dow Jones?, The Baker's Wife, Olympus on My Mind, Miss Gulch Returns and Flora the Red Menace.

I am a published and produced palywright/lyricist. I am currently working on an original muiscal melodrama that I hope to market to high schools (as well as community theaers) around the country. I think the score is very contemporary and Broadway/ Disney-like. I would like to get reactions from teens interested in musical theater. I can send MP3's.

I am interested in opening a professional melodrama/dinner theater in my area. I would like to find out what Equity scale is, so I have some guidlelines for paying the cast and crew.

My search has come up empty in regard to pay scale.

I would rather not join Equity as a theater owner/producer. It would limit the cast and crew to only Equity productions and there would be no opportunities in my area for them. How can I find out what is fair to pay the cast and crew?

An Off-B'way producer has expressed (not in writing yet) interest in my new play. I have published plays, but this would be my first professionally produced work. How much say can I expect to have in regard to casting?

Is Yahoo 360 now defunct? I can't seem to access it. Is there another way to add MY photo to my Answers profile?
