  • Car acts like it's in neutral and won't go for a few seconds of holding thd gas?

It first started yesterday while the AC was on. I thought nothing of it at the time because I figured it was just the AC bogging down the engine like it's been doing for months. Today, however, it did this when my AC was off. So now I know I have a legit issue and I need to know what could cause this. I pull up to a stop sign and everything's fine. But if I come to a stop for a length of time, such as at a red light, something happens and I'm able to let go of the brake and stand still like a standard and I have automatic. When the light turns and I try to take off, no matter how much I press the gas all that happens is the engine revs and I stay still. If I hold the gas the car will eventually move after a few seconds. It has a hard time at first but once I get up to road speeds, everything is fine. It's only when I've stopped for a period of time and then try to go. It happens no matter what gear I'm in except reverse

Side Note: I asked my father and he said to check if the trans fluid is low. So I did and I pull up my dipstick(after pulling and wiping, of course). It's covered in fluid and it reads way over maximum fill. First off, how the hell is that possible? I've been told Honda trannys are only good for 100kmiles and I'm at 143k. I have a feeling the tranny is just going out because it's old but is it even worth it to fix a 97 Honda tranny? That's a hefty bill and I ain't made of money. Any info will be geatly appreciated. I'm lost on this one.

  • Isobaric setup with 2 Kicker Comp 12s?

I just discovered the isobaric setup, by accident more or less, but I would like to know their effectiveness, practicality, and if it's a good idea with my 2 12s. I can build a new box to match whatever specs you can give me in your answer. Please be as detailed as possible so I can build it exactly the way that would perform best. My idea is a simple 3 walled enclosure with a cone-to-cone setup mounted to the inner wall. That's just my opinion using limited, just discovered info. I don't know what cubic footage each chamber should be though. And porting. Yes or no? Details on port width and length and circular or box type port needed as well.

  • Where would I go to get my car horn button fixed?

The button for my car horn broke off. I guess after 18 years of being used and abused before I got the car caused it to fatigue and break. I'm not going to risk the repair myself for the simple fact that to get to the button, I'd have to remove the steering wheel cover and one false move and my face would be pummeled by the air bag behind it. No thank you. So what kinda shop would fix this?
