My little 14 year old sister took her Nook tablet to school today and kept it in her back pack which is packed full. Really, not a good idea. Sometime during the day, she threw her backpack down and the nook was bent slighty. Just enough to minorly crack the screen in 2 places along the left side. There are lines and colors and shapes that are definitely not supposed to be there on the display and the touch capabilities aren't working. We aren't sure if this is covered under warranty (pretty sure it's not) so how do we fix it? Can we still take it to B&N to have it looked at even if we don't have a warranty? If so how much will it cost? or is there some way i could fix it myself? Help! My sister feels guilty and is very upset and i'm looking for something that will make her feel a little better. How can we fix her tablet?????

I've had a cold since Monday. I have a stuffed nose and my throat is really sore and I sound terrible when I speak or sing. But I'm supposed to sing tomorrow and I need to know how to get better. I've been drinking a lot of water and that makes my throat feel better but I don't sound any better. Help!

Ok so I'm 17 and work at a grocery store. I work saturday and Sunday but I have plans on Sunday. So what could I say happened in between shifts that would get me out of work? I usually don't lie to get out of work but this is really important!

lately i am SO stressed, it's been crazy and not much fun. i am 16 and i think that the best way for me to stop stressing out would be to get away from all people (family too), connections of any sort like facebook, twitter, texts, IMs, tv, media,etc. i'm talking complete solitude!!!! at my age where could i go or what could i do to get away for a week or so. and how can i persuade my parents to let me go for a while??

So a guy I just met asked me to go to a city about 30 minutes away to hang out for the day. I'd like to go but I don't feel comfortable to be that far from home with a guy I just met! I DO want to hang out with him, just maybe closer to home. How do I let him down easy for today but hint that I would still like to hang out? What do I say?

I'm going into my junior year of high school. I've gone out for CC both previous years and have never done well. Believe me, I WANT to do well but I have a lack of ambition. Plus when I do run I feel like I'm going to die! I can't breath and tire very quickly. Besides that, food is a major weakness of mine. Im not overweight or anything, just not in shape, you know? I'd like to be healthier and be able to do better in cross. Practice starts in 4 weeks.

1. how can I begin to prepare so that I'm not always at the back? I know 4 weeks isn't much time, but I'm going to try my hardest and will hopefully meet my goal.

2. What can I do during a run to keep myself going when I feel like quitting?

3. What can I do to change my diet so I feel a little better and am healthier?

I was playing fetch with my yorkie this morning and the ball rolled down a hill behind our shed. I waited for my dog to come back to me with the ball but she didn't so I went to see what she was doing. I saw her rolling around on the ground (like she usually does when she finds something smelly) next to what looked like a dead squirrel or rabit. At the quick glance I took I saw it was rotting and opened up, not just laying dead. So if my dog came in contact with the insides of a wild animal, is there a chance she could get rabies? ALSO the inside of her lower left eyelid is red and puffy. this just came up today as far as I've seen. She always has sties and goobers in her eyes though. The vet has never mentioned anything about it at a check up. She has gotten this red puffy thing on her eye before but usually passes within a week or two. But the fact that it just popped up today after the animal incident has me freaking out! Should I take her to the vet?

So I'm signed up to go on a trip to Spain next spring break through Spanish club at my high school. The problem is my mom just lost her job on Friday so she won't be able to pay for my trip.

I have a job, I make $7.50 per hour at a grocery store and during the school year I averaged about 20 hours in the two week pay period. I'm guessing I'll get more hours this summer but I'm not sure.

I have no money set aside for the trip. the first payment is $1500 and due late in September and another payment in late October/early November. I did the math and I need to make $220 every paycheck (every two weeks) to make tge first payment. but I usually only average $150 per check. How can I make more money? And not just at work but by selling things like old clothes, or I'm even wondering if bake sales work? I'm desperate to go on this trip and it would mean so much if I could go!!

Also I'm a spender, not a saver. What are some good tips for saving money!

Ok! so it's the last week of the trimester and i have a 52% in english class and i NEED TO PASS. Tonight I am trying to finish some big papers that I didn't turn in when they were due. I had a late night last night as well and tonight I have 3 papers to type and 8 poems to write, draw pictures for, and put it all together in a neat little book for class tomorrow morning. but i am SO TIRED! how do i stay awake and make sure i get all of my stuff done?! and i don't want to have to drink any caffeine because i'll get jittery. I need to make sure i stay awake as long as i need to to finsh my papers. someone help!

i have dirty blonde hair and i have (believe it or not) natural highlights. My parents call it my "streak". On the top of my head, my hair grows in very light blonde, like almost white! I'd really like to dye my hair dark brown or black, but if I ever want to go back to my natural shade what would i do??? I couldn't really dye it back to my natural shade because the light would grow out and look weird, right? also, I'm on a tight budget so I want to know, does the cheap box color like at Wal-mart actually work well? If so, what's a good brand? and does it cost a lot to color roots when you get outgrowth??

I have a new HP G62-371DX laptop with a built in web cam and i'd really like to record videos with it for a vlog, I just don't know how! is there a specific program i can download? I also want to be able to edit the videos because i'll be uploading them to youtube.

I'm 15 and I got my first period when I was 12 (August 2007). I have had it less than 10 times since then. I am average weight, my diet has always been the same, I am still a virgin, and I am not an excercise maniac or anything. my discharge smells different sometimes. when I get my period it seems average. could I be sick or infertile? what's going on?
