What documents do I need to renew my registration in NY?
The website seems to answer every question except this one, and they won't even answer the phone. I know I need proof of inspection, do I need proof of insurance? Please do not answer unless you are sure. Thanks.
2 AnswersInsurance & Registration9 years agoAttorney escrow account clients lumped together... is this legal?
I am selling a property to an investor who put down a large downpayment. The downpayment was given to my real estate attorney to be placed in an escrow account. The contract that I am in with this investor is very complicated and money has been going in and out of the account. When I asked my attorney for a statement to see my escrow balance and transactions, he tells me that his escrow account has all of his clients money in there, and that he would have to back track to figure out the balance. Is he supposed to do it that way? Shouldn't he have separate accounts for his clients?
Please list your source when answering so I know who is giving me an opinion and who would really know. Thanks.

2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police10 years agoWhat is the argument for allowing campaign donations to be anonymous?
I just do not understand this. Don't we have a right to know who is funding our politicians and their political organizations? I could go on about why this is crazy but what are the arguments for it? What am I missing here?
2 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat exactly is the republican argument for tax payer subsidies...?
for big oil companies? I know they are not trying to say it will cause gas prices to go up because even the top 5 oil execs agree to that. So why is it that we need to continue giving tax breaks to the most profitable oil companies in the world?
4 AnswersGovernment1 decade ago9/11 Truthers: When are you finally give us your version of what really happened?
10 years and you guys have yet to come up with a working theory of how this crazy plot was actually pulled off. Every time we ask you what happened you guys say "we don't know, that's why we want an investigation". If you can not even make up a story that makes sense after 10 years then why should anyone take you seriously?
5 AnswersOther - News & Events1 decade agoRepublicans: Whatever happened to "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs"?
You guys have had congress for about 5 months now and have not passed or even seriously debated one bill aimed at creating jobs since you guys took office. Am I missing something here?

9 AnswersGovernment1 decade ago9/11 truthers: How can you honestly believe that you have proven...?
that the government is responsible for 9/11 without any proof that they were…actually responsible?
Every bit of respectable proof you claim to have is undeniably circumstantial. Your apparent logic is simple: Holes in the official story = Cover up = Conspiracy = Guilty. By this logic I can prove anything I want. I can prove that the Titanic didn’t really sink, or that there really was no Tsunami in Japan. To have real proof you need evidence that implicates someone or something specific. When you guys are asked “what do you really think happened?” the answer is always something like “we’re just looking at the evidence, and asking questions”. Don’t you think that if the government was responsible you would have some proof of an actual story? Especially considering that there are thousands of you guys spending hours and hours looking for some?
2 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIs there a simple way to put together a website?
I'm just looking for a quick, and cheap way to put together a website. Im not trying to get rich or anything, just have one that I can play with. Everything I look up seems like a lot of steps, and always manage to tack on other expenses for things I assumed I would be getting in the first place. I prefer to spend my rare time off on the content, not on putting it together. Please help. Thanks.
5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoDo you think 9/11 was an inside job?
If you do then please explain what you really think happened on that day. Give me a real theory of how it was pulled off while still being reasonable.
My guess it that you have none. I always hear 9/11 truthers say "were just looking at the evidence". Of course, because the minute you even begin to speculate as to how it could have possibly been pulled off even you guys realize how ridiculous you sound.
For example, if you say the towers came down by controlled demolition you are automatically saying that a team of secret operatives came in and out of the building planting bombs on the steel columns which would have to have been exposed by contactors beforehand (a process that takes weeks, especially in a building that size), that no one noticed, and everyone has stayed quiet ever since. Not to mention that they planted the bombs in such perfect fashion that the plane hit the perfect section around the bombs to allow the steel columns at the center where the plane hit to weaken slowly (as made obvious by the videos), and that the bombs were timed perfectly so that they would detonate right at the moment the collapsing portion of the tower hit the floor the bombs were planted on. And since this has never been even remotely attempted before, this first time massive operation went flawlessly twice. And that's just talking about the two towers.
When us government sheeple say that it was not an inside job you say we are being ridiculous. I really do want to understand how you can beleive you are not being ridiculous by believing that.
detailed answers welcomed
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade ago9/11 Truthers: How do you explain flight 93?
The two main truther beliefs about flight 93 seems to be that:
A) A plane did not crash in Shanksville PA, as evident by the pictures of the crash site which show no debris. Or
B) the plane was shot down, as evident by the fact that parts of the plane were found miles away
When looking at these two different and contradictory reasons to assume the story of flight 93 is a lie, doesn't it make more sense to beleive that a plane did crash in PA at 500mph straight into the ground which would explain both of these facts?

Please tell me why you believe your answer. Thanks.
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoDo you believe 9/11 was an "inside Job"?
By "inside job" I am referring to the notion that the Bush Admin planned and carried out the attacks or that they knew about it and intentionally allowed them to happen. Please explain (briefly or as in depth as you want) why you believe what you do. Sources welcomed.
11 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoConservatives: What are death pannels?
Us liberals have this crazy notion that you guys seem to think a person deciding what their own end of life care will be is a death panel. I don't think normal people can really be that crazy. Please help me understand. Where do you get this from? Why do you believe that they are in the health care law?
3 AnswersCivic Participation1 decade agoWhy is a low sodium diet important?
I'm having a tough time understanding what exactly sodium does. They say it causes high blood pressure but my understanding is that blood pressure comes from clogged arteries forcing your heart to pump the blood faster in order to circulate. If that's correct then foods low in trans fats should help keep blood pressure down. Am I misunderstanding this? I've also heard that sodium causes fluids to be retained. Why is this bad? Please help me understand... what does sodium do and how is that connected to high fat?
