I was interviewed for a position at a credit company as a underwriter and when I was invited back to the company, they offered me a position as a collection specialist. The salary for the underwriter position would have paid 15 per hour and tuition reimbursement. The collection specialist pays 11.50 per hour and no tuition reimbursement. I'm a recent graduate with only retail experience. I haven't been able to land any interviews and I just turned 25 and I live at home with my parents. I work as a key holder at a retail store. About a month ago, the assistant manager quit and my boss took over as the store manager. When she took over, I have pretty much been running the store. When shipment comes in, I stock shelves by my self with no help. We usually get a lot of shipment in especially since the holidays are nearing. We received 60+ boxes that I had to put up by myself. I take out the trash all of the time. I also have to clean the store, which she puts a lot of emphases on. Also, when we have promo changes, I am left with the responsibility with changing the entire store by myself with no help. I even process payroll. I get paid $1 above minimum wage. Our seasonal sales associates get paid more than me. I just received my bachelor's degree In management and finding another job is almost impossible. Do you think my boss is using me, if so, how do I deal with the situation?

I was written up at work today because the rug at the front door was not swept. I work as as sales associate in a commissioned based sales environment. My main duties are to sale. I am one of the best at my job. Do you think she is trying to get rid of me? Do you think what she did was right?
