When you receive federal student aide do you file your taxes differently?
My fiance gets federal aide for school and we were wondering if you have to file your income taxes differently and if the aide will effect his return (i.e. he will get less because of the aide...)

This website is the only thing that has something similar to what I want, except it's for a child, not an adult.
10 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoA baby tooth question?
I was playing with my son yesterday and noticed that a new tooth was coming in. He already has two bottom teeth, so it really wasn't a surprise to me. What did surprise me was that it is a side tooth rather than a front tooth. He hasn't gotten any of his top front teeth and was wondering is this was normal. I have never seen a baby grow a side tooth before any front teeth have arrived. It looks as if it is one of his canines. I am also concerned that it looks as if it is growing from the side of his gums rather than from the base of his gums. His gums are swollen, so it might just look as if it is growing in the wrong place though. His other two teeth grew in just fine, so it has me a little worried.
Is it normal to grow "canine" teeth before front teeth?
Does the tooth sound like it growing from the wrong place on his gums?
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHave some questions about perscription migraine medication.?
I have horrible migraines all of the time. I have tried many otc medications and none have provided me adaquate relief. I have heard of prescription migraine medication, and was wondering what kinds are out there and if anyone has used them, do they work? I am due for my annual visit to my Gyno and was going to ask her about it, but wasn't sure she could perscribe anything, seeing as this is not her "expertise". Does anyone have any useful information?
6 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoDo Parents Like This Deserve A Second Chance?
I got to talking to the grandmother of a little 8 month old girl on Friday. She had recieved temporary custody of the baby on May, 12th. Her son had just joined the military and apparently single fathers cannot have primary custody of their children. She also told me that the baby girl was born addicted to methamphetimine. Apparantly the hospital didn't know until the baby's bloodwork had came back. By then, the baby, the mom, and her three other children were already at home. When the authorities came to do a drug test on the mom, it came back positive with HIGH levels of methamphetimine in her system. Enough that detected she had even used after the birth of her new baby. Needless to say all of her children were removed from the home. The baby ended up in 2 different foster homes before she ended up with her grandma. She also implied that her son was a recovering addict. Do you think that parents like this derserve a second chance?
21 AnswersParenting1 decade agoCan you put mosquito repellent on a 9 month old??
I have a nine month old son and he loves to play outside in his swing. We live close to a creek and there always seems to be mosquitos everywhere. I have previously just kept him pretty covered up, but seeing as it almost summer time that won't be as good of an option. I know there are tons of baby sunscreens out there, but I haven't seen any bug repellent. I did see some sunscreen with mosquito repellent in it, but it said for "the whole family", not really specifying if it was baby safe. Does anyone know of any products that may be useful?
9 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhy are some people so judgmental about co-sleeping??
My son is nine months old and has slept with me every night since he has been born. I purchased a crib when I was pregnant with the cute little bedding set and the only use I recieved out of it was a great photo op.! When I tell people that my son sleeps with my husband and I, the response is negative a majority of the time. It started out as an "Aw, he's so sweet, I don't want to put him down.." kind of thing to where now, it is just our family preference. I didn't have any idea that "co-sleeping" was such a debatable issue until after I had been doing it for a while. I know safety is one of the issues, but my husbad and I have taken every imaginable precaution. It seems some people are just plain uncomfortable with it. I was wanting to here from other people about thier opinions on the topic!
21 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMan bothering me while I'm at work, what should I do??
I have been working at my current job as a receptionist at a credit union for a little over a month now. Almost every day a man comes in the branch and continously hits on me. At first I was nice about it, thinking that he was just being friendly. Lately he has been making me extremely uncomfortable. I have a hard time telling people to get lost and also don't want to get into trouble at my new job. Yesterday he crossed the line by suggesting that I come to his "fashion show" where he mentioned that he would be wearing a G string ( gross!!!). I have told my husband about this and he said just tell him to shut up and go away. Seeing as that he is is a member of the credit union, I don't want him complaining about me to upper managment for being rude. I am absolutly fed up with it and want it to stop! I have told him that I am married and have a child, but this has not stopped him!! Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of this guy without getting into any sort of trouble??
8 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoAny advise on how to get my nine month old to stop throwing tantrums when I put him down.?
Since he was about 3 months old, my son has gone into fits of screaming and crying every time I put him down. For the last few months the problem has increased exponentially! As soon as I put him down he screams, cries, throughs his arms and legs about, and has recently started to throw his head back against whatever he happens to be sitting or laying on. He also has started doing all of these things even if I hold him, but am sitting down rather than standing up and walking around. My family tells me to just let him cry it out, and eventually he will stop crying. I have tried this and it has proven to be very unsuccessful due to the fact that he does not stop crying, but in fact, gets louder. I feel terrible when he does this, but in order to get simple things done I have to be able to put him down. It has become such an issue that my grandmother(who cares for my son on the days his father and I are at work) is giving me subtle hints that she may not want to watch him anymore.
