I have a recipe for a 9 Inch pie, but I am going to make two 6 inch pies instead, my recipes calls for the pie to be baked at 350 degrees to 10-15 minutes. Since I am making smaller pies do I need to adjust the baking time, and if so by how much, or do I cook the pies the same length of time regardless of the size? Also can I cook them both in the oven at the same time?

I'm looking for real songs like "Locomotion" "ABC" "Twist and Shout" not kids songs like wheels on the bus. Real songs kids can listen to without driving parents crazy, but appropriate songs. I've already got things like "Purple People Eater" "Wooly Bully" "Witch Doctor"

Any other ideas?

I was looking at ancestry information and I came across a 1940's census for a relative, his occupation is listed as "Gack House Oper" Does anyone know what this is? I've tried looking...I'm beginning to think this was a typo.

The story is about a lazy tiger who sleeps on a hill all day but one day wanders down to a village to eat a cow and gets caught in the rain. Hearing people inside speaking of a “leak in the roof” he thinks that it is something to eat. The tiger falls asleep in the house and a thief comes in in the dark and thinks the tiger is a cow and leads it away. The tiger is frightened by the thief's mask. The thief soon sees that it is a tiger and not a cow and is scared. The Tiger is still afraid of the thief thinking it is a terrible “leak in the roof”. A deer comes along and the thief tells the tiger that the deer is a terrible tiger eater. The lazy tiger runs back to his mountain top and never leaves again.

This is supposedly an ancient Chinese story but I can't find anything like this anywhere.

I live on the Missouri-Kansas state line and the other day outside of the post office I saw a bird but I can't figure out what it is.

It was very bright orange (not entirely orange though) and had feathers that stood up on its head and lay back down, when they were up it looked like a mohawk, the bird was good sized, at least the size of a robin, no smaller.

Anyone know what this bird could be? I've looked at various orioles and things but none of them were as bright orange as this and they didn't have feathers on their head that stood up.

I'm looking for some information on an old wedding tradition that possibly was common in the area of Slovakia, I believe it is called a wedding cane. The item is made of hand blown glass and held wine inside it, the end would be snipped of and the wine drank at some point during the ceremony. Can anyone find me a page of information on this tradition?

I can't find any information on this under the name wedding cane however so I assume there was a proper name for this item.

In the original sims (sims living large etcetera..) is it possible to build a house more than two stories tall and if so how do I do it?

Okay this is a kid's movie it is live action and maybe a few years old but not THAT old. All I remember is it has these kids and they're doing something (obviously) and something bad is going to happen so they have to find this old woman who's father was kidnapped by fairies. At the end you get to see the "fairy world" and the old woman goes off with her father who is the same age as when he disappeared.

It's just bugging me so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know when this movie was made but I remember owning it in the early 90's it was out on video tape. It's about two kids a boy and girl who somehow get into the nursery rhyme land. They meet the itsy bitsy spider who is in his tree house and they ride in a boat through the sky that looks like musical notes singing row row row your boat. There is also a piano I think someone dances on. Alot of nursery ryhmes and songs are performed in it. It's live action and everyone is dressed up. It's very colorful. The kids I think are looking for something or maybe how to get home I don't remember. The background stuff is very unrealistic so I think it was cheaply made there's a scene with giant thorny flowers and a scene with either balloons or balls.
