I have my best pictures backed up on CD’s but I have thousands of other pictures that I have taken over the years that I would like to back up.

My plan is to buy one or two portable hard drives and copy the pictures onto them and then store them in a safety deposit box. The first question is; if these drives do not get accessed for one or two years does this cause any problems with the data storage? Any other issues you see with storing data this way.

I am also going to look into the online storage but if you have a better way for storing data please let me know.

Is it possible to password protect a sub folder in hot-mail or yahoo mail? I am concerned that if someone hacks into my account they would gain access to a lot of privet information. I would like to have some of the more sensitive items that I have filed away in sub folders to have an extra line of protection.

Or if you solved this problem another way please let me know how you did it.

My DSL internet from Qwest comes and goes. When it is not working the DSL, wireless, and power light are Green and do no flash. The internet light is off but never turns red. Would like your opinion if this is a problem with the provider or a problem on my end.

I have been looking for an apartment building in the Ohio area, where I will be retiring, and found one that I like. I am not as familiar with the area as I would like to be and do not have enough experience buying property to be 100% confident I am making a sound decision.

What type of professional would be best suited to assist me in my decision. I have considered contacting a local real estate lawyer, account, and or a finical planner. I want to buy tickets for the Oct 17th Shrine Circus show in Minneapolis this Friday. Are any local stores selling them or do you have to buy them from Ticket master? Do you know of any discount tickets

I normally workout on random mode but have tried the cardio mode where you enter age, weight, time, and heart rate. When I do this it works well until I get about 16 minutes into the workout and then the machine increase the resistance to max and I can not make it move fast enough so it goes into pause mode.

I have now tried this on three different machines and they all do the same.

Any idea on what I am doing wrong

My son just bought a beginners base guitar and we broke a sting on it trying to tune it, It is a Fender and the strings that came on it look like the ends have been stripped and coated black before they were wound around the pegs. If not stripped they are thinner on the ends. The replacement strings I bought are not, do I need to do anything to the ends or can I just put on and wind them tight.

I looked on the internet but I could not find anything specific to a base guitar and because these strings are so thick I want to make sure it is OK to just put them on and wind them up,

Has anyone else had a problem with there headlights not being very bright. At first I just thought they were dirty but after cleaning them it did not make a difference. Then I thought they dim because I replaced them when they burned out with Wal-Mart cheapies. Then I replaced them with a better set but did not see any improvements?

Any suggestions one what the problem is or how to fix it?

Even with 200,000 (just turned over two days ago) the car runs great and has been well maintained and if I can solve this headlight problem I should be able to get at least another 50,000 miles out of those four little cylinders.

I have some data that was stripped out of a different system and now is in a CSV file. This file has a date column but it is in the form of 110207 which would be 11-02-2007. You can not just convert it from number to date because it will give you 9-25-2201 which is the date value of the number 110207.

Any help you could give me on how to do this would be much appreciated.

I did do it be making a vlookup table but there must be a faster and or easier way.

What is a good large crockpot that has a delayed start?

My son has been questioning this technique and I am not sure how to answer it. He thinks that with a person charging you at full speed it would be difficult to complete the technique before the person passed by or there momentum would knock you over. Would appreciate your thoughts on this technique.

What is the best large programmable crockpot? I am looking one that is digital and has a timer that I can set for any time on high or low and has a delay before it starts cooking.

I just bought a Oyster brand and found out it did not have a delay start and on the low setting it would not go lower then 6.5 hours. Also the crock broke the 2nd time it was used.

As you can see I did not do a good job finding the one that was right for me so I am hopping someone has one that they like with these features and will pass along the information.

I want to install a ceiling fan where I currently have a light. It would be extremely difficult to get to that light from the attic to see if it is braced for a ceiling fan. If I have to I will cut the drywall around the box to see and use a cover but before I do I thought I would ask and see if anyone knew a way to tell without going into the attic or cutting the drywall.
