An answer on webmd.com from a doctor posted in 2004 says that he/she expects an alternative to the horrible drug amiodarone within a year or so (from 2004). is there one now in 2009?

I took 2 x 200 mg of cordarone (amiodarone) per day for 4 days before reading about its harsh side effects and have decided to quit. How long will it take for my body to be fully rid of this drug?

i have to clean up gecko droppings along the walls of my home in thailand at least once a day. i have found these droppings in odd places as well. i would hate to hurt the little critters but i do not want them in my home. i could kill them with my broom because i can see them crawling around on the wall but i am hoping for a humane remedy.
