7 month old projectile vomiting!?
My baby boy has been a victim to the sickness running through the house. He had a double ear infection two weeks ago, and is now off the Amoxicillin. In the last three days, he has been irritable and up a few hours at night with swollen gums and drool (teething). He has been eating very little (3-5 oz. formula when he takes 8 oz normally). He took his 8 oz tonight and proceeded to projectile vomit the entire bottle and Motrin.
He did it last night as well.
My guy is a large babe-- 21 lbs :)
Anyone else have this problem??
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoCan you post a "no solicitors" sign?
Is it possible to request no solicitors in a residential house without means of community or town involvement? AT&T came to my door on a Friday night at 7:15 (do they have no lives?). I would rather have no one at my door due to a barking dog and a toddler. Does anyone know if you can simply post a sign that they will adhere to, or other options?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoToddler vs. Beagle...any advice?
My 2 1/2 year old is not great with our 5-yr old Beagle. She loves to chase him and make him bark. Poor dog is very stressed out. He runs away from her when she chases, and barks. He will sometimes growl when she comes near. The hardest part is, even when he is annoyed by her, he continues to follow her around. It's the mix between annoyance and loyalty that gets him, I think.
We do give our daughter time-outs when she purposely annoys the dog, but he gets more and more frustrated with her even when she's ignoring him.
BTW- he has NEVER tried to bite or nip. I think he knows we would get rid of him if he did.
Any advice for the toddler or the Beagle?
11 AnswersDogs1 decade agoQuirky musical theatre duet for mezzo-sop and baritone?
Hubby and I are singing for a 60th wedding anniversary, so we're looking for a fun piece that can be performed for an "older" audience (a.k.a. no "Avenue Q" or similar lyrics)
A lot of the other pieces we are doing are hymns, so I'm hoping to find something upbeat and/or quirky to move the pace of the program.
3 AnswersPerforming Arts1 decade agoOff the pill, period question...?
Went off Kariva pill-- trying to conceive. I began heavy bleeding Tuesday, and this went on through Sunday. Not fun. My normal period would be coming this week, and I am feeling extremely hormonal (PMS symptoms). Should I expect my period (a.k.a. more bleeding?!) this week, or is my body all screwed up now?? I'd like to at least know when I'll stop bleeding (so we can actually begin the baby making process), or if I should book a vaca for my hubby while I am severely hormonal :)
1 AnswerTrying to Conceive1 decade agoDo you find it difficult (and scary for the future of our kids)?
to read everything they write in "text" language?? It's hard to follow, for one, but it seems as though some don't know how to write properly without the use of LOL, OMG, etc. and run-on sentences!
Do you agree?
(for some examples, read some of the postings on this site)

YAY! My 9 week old just slept 12 hours with one 4 a.m feeding! We finally got her to sleep a bit earlier (usually goes down around 10:30 or 11 p.m.). She did a great sleep. Here's my question...I work evenings and don't get home till 9:30. Any advice for my husband and the bottle? Will she still go down as well without the breast at night??

No offense to the lass, but she sounds terrible live. Anyone agree? Again, I'm not trying to bash, but is she any better, or do I hear bad live versions?
