  • Is my Wacom Graphire4 CTE-640 graphics tablet in need of a new pen?

    I have a wacom cte 640 which i have had a number of years. I hadn't used it in a month or so and when I came back to it it started acting differently.

    It seems to have lost calibration as it is acting as if the pen is touching the tablet even when there is up to a centimeter's gap between the two.

    Do I have to replace the pen and if so, how can i prevent this from happening again?

  • New computer with 3Gb Ram but only 4.5 Vista Experience score?

    I have a brand new Packard Bell I-Media X2415 desktop with 3Gb ram (a 1gb and a 2gb). However my vista experience rating is only 4.5, based on the number of memory operations per second.

    I have seen people with scores over 5 with only 2Gb ram - does this mean the PC is just loaded with rubbish components or is there an explanation? Maybe there are problems because the two rams are of different sizes?

    And how reliable is Vista Experience as a means of testing your computer's potential performance?

  • I am in £4 000 debt but want to move abroad?

    I am planning to move to Prague as soon as possible, but I feel crippled by my credit card and overdraft debts. I have an £8 an hour job Mon-Fri but I have heard if I get a second job this will increase my tax level!
